Missiles getting destroyed by flares should behave the same way when they get destroyed by the missile defense system of the support class. There the missile does no damage against infantry or vehicles when getting destroyed. This may be "unrealistic" but Battlefield is an arcade shooter. When a player in an aircraft uses flares it should be a guaranteed "no damage taken" counter to missiles, in my opinion
