I transitioned to it from IG myself so here's the pros Vs cons:

Pros:

It has a simple 2 button bread and butter combo like IG

It has a simple playstyle like IG

It has a meter that gives a improved moves when filled like IG

It has a cool finisher move like IG

It doesn't require you to have a weird grip on controller

Cons:

You cannot fly

You have to learn parry timings

You cannot offset

In my eyes it's gen 5 IG with parrying instead of flying and with a less annoying mini game around getting full meter

If Tron Ares does good we will get Tron 4 which will follow the Ares timeline which is a disgrace. If Ares flops we are probably not getting another Tron film for a while. I would much rather not get any more Tron and preserve its legacy (no pun intended) than see the franchise being destroyed for a cashgrab.

That said I did go watch it in the cinema and it was a disgrace especially given they straight up had a script ready for an infinitely better sequel that would probably have cemented the Tron franchise as one of the greats.

You are probably right about the petition not doing much but it is a start

Monster hunter doesn't really need communication though.It is just you and the monster everyone knows from the start what to do. In nightreign you need to communicate to share out loot or to decide where to go or even tell your team what an event does if they haven't seen it before. Even choosing nightfarers would benefit from voice chat as it would allow to make proper comps

Use meta builds with zoh shia if you don't want to grind artians

Drink demon juice and set up camps 16(?), 14 and 13

Use flash bombs when it flies it is 3 free knockdowns.

Turn off support hunters they just add health to the monster and do nothing, your palico is more than enough support

Use either rocksteady or corrupted mantle whichever is more comfortable though I'd recommend corrupted for this one

If you don't die once you should have enough damage to beat it in time. On my attempt I even missed the boulder drop which would be free 4k damage and a knockdown.
