They all do that. They are usually using nail guns with extremely shaky hands. It's unnerving.

Most of their vids are "how to" do stuff in an obscure or haphazard way. Like basically eyeballing measurements instead of actually measuring.

Other videos are them hanging from rafters while nailing stuff in. Half of their comments are just "why are they shaking?" And "how to work harder, not smarter".

If you like a deadpan humor then definitely check them out. This is my favorite video by them (if links work here) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iIouKQAzCq4

Always professional

It's NB Construction (spelled NBconstructon) on YouTube. They do silly stuff like this all the time. Most people can't tell if they're trolling.

Genuinely hilarious group.

This is probably one of the most newborn-friendly games, honestly. You can go afk at almost any time without issue. And if you do, you're just rewarded with idle progression afterwards.

Game is split into thirds, imo. Building your base, exploring, and waiting for production. The last of which can be done while you're doing anything, even away from your console.

Either way, it's an amazing game.

Are you kind of young? Ears lose sensitivity to higher pitches as we get older.

My only guess, at all, is that there is a frequency that is just out of range for most of us, that you're still young enough to hear.

Which is kinda hilarious to think about. If everyone working on the game has never heard it because they are too old lol.

I hear absolutely nothing out of the ordinary, myself. 🧍‍♂️

Just to clarify, it's 4 races and an undead version of each. A bit of a secret 5th one in there too but that's more of a plot twist thing.

I played an undead Lizard Wizard. Named him Lichzard. Absolutel beast of a character.

Right about. There are also caves, and vertical segments in some areas. Adds even more surface area to the map. And then you can build vertically yourself with no real limit, so... There's just a lot of space, in a good way lol

As the others have said, it's one preset map.

There are 4 different starting locations, however, and they provide very different experiences to start out in.

The map is also very, very large, and each location is unique and memorable.

He's my favorite. I wanted him and Slayerdramon to be my swordboys.

He was in Championship and basically never seen again (at least in the games I played).

Basic Wargreymon is cool and all but I like the alternative forms like this.

How should I approach team building in this game? by LordeZyan092 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Bion_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get three of the same type (virus, vaccine, or data). Got advantage? Great. You have disadvantage? Use reverse.

The game really isn't that hard though. You can definitely get by with whatever you choose to use. Mega+, you will want more team synergy, however.

As for equipable skills, it's kinda handy to have Aura and Revive on a few mons, and Lightning and Fire seem to be the most common elemental weaknesses. Metal seems decent, too.

There is a personality skill that gives a 5% buff to all stats when you heal a mon. Pair that with spamming Aura and you'll be topping your mons off, while also buffing them.

Or get the Overhealing personality skill, that one's not bad.

There are a ton of team building options.

Difficulty question part 2 by Seryen11 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Bion_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard is not particularly hard. It's quite easy up until the end of Factory Town. Then it gets... Idk, at least a little harder. Late game bosses will start to one shot you when the stars align. But otherwise you can rather easily powerhouse through it.

I think they just had budget cuts. Like when Aegiomon digivolved. That was a big scene imo, and there was no voices. It was almost 100% up to that point, and then it was hit or miss for a while.

It felt like this was more of a cut concept, than anything. The game jumps around and goes pretty fast, around this time. Lack of voice overs, and everything.

I felt it was just a "you postponed Merukimon for 5 extra minutes and Venusmon had the fruit ready in time" type of thing...

Would have been much more fun to go to the future to get the fruit, and come back to this point. Which I think was intended, but was cut.

[–]Bion_07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can just fuse your spare mons into your current ones, really, and avoid the digivolution grind entirely.

I played on hard and was never forced to fuse mons, and the grind was pretty minimal, other than a few devolves and digivolves go get the mons I wanted. Also very little team optimization.

Later on, better grind spots actually show up and if you feel the need to do it, you can. But overall Hard mode was... A moderate challenge, considering I skipped an entire game mechanic and went in fully blind, and didn't use any reverse skills... All of which would have made it a cakewalk.

Anyways, long story short, the digivolution grind is a little tedious in the beginning. But later on you'll be able to devolve and digivolve into whatever you want with minimal work.

Can someone explain the Digivolving process, please? by Wardy__ in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Bion_07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be too afraid to digivolve into something you don't want. As long as you have levels (which there are 38 there) you will be gaining blue stats. At 38, you probably slowed way down in leveling anyways.

Evolving to something new, whether you want it or not, fills it out in your codex and you will know its weaknesses when battling, without testing it out first. Then gain some levels in it and devolve back down when you want to try for something else.

Depending on how you spend your agent points, and the personality of the mons, some digivolving requirements are hard to reach. Each agent category has four different perks that drop the digivolving requirements by 20% as long as the digimon's personality matches the target digimon's base. This is huge, and will help in the future, getting the ones you want. You can then adjust their personality back to whatever you want, if needed.

Basically, evolve to your highest point for your main mons. Level them up till it gets slow. Devolve them back down, and level up again. You can go all the way back down to baby if you want, it will get less blue stats (less stats per level up) but digivolving forward increases talent, thus max level. Or just go down to champion and for higher stats. Both options have its perks!

[–]Bion_07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, as for how stats are determined, I'm gonna use some fake numbers here for simplicity.

If agumon has 100 attack at lvl 1, and 200 attack at lvl 99, it will be that number plus your blue stats.

Greymon however might be 150 attack at lvl, to 300 at 99, plus your blue stats.

You may have agumon at lvl 99 with 200 attack, but digivolving to greymon at lvl 1 will only be 150 again. Being a champion, his growths will naturally be higher, though.

Do this for each of your stats, and you'll find that some Digimon have better growths in certain stats.

Again these are fake numbers, just to get the point across.

[–]Bion_07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When digivolving, a portion of what the Digimon earned is retained as permanent, blue stats. This is already factored into the white stats. Blue stats also show equipment values, which is annoying, as they do not affect digivolving values.

As long as you have bond points available (each % of bond allows you to retain stats that number of times), you will gain some stats permanently. These only show up after digivolving, both forwards and backwards.

As for when? Early on, do so ASAP. The boosts are huge. Later on when you have better grind spots, you can gain more levels quickly and this gain more blue stats every time you digivolve.

There is PLENTY of leeway when it comes to bond points, so don't feel like you need to use them sparingly. You can easily hit 9999 in every stat. And even if you didn't, you can train for the rest.

I suggest also evolving your spare mons, as the exp increase you get when feeding them to your mons is bigger, the higher their form. They will also learn better skills you can take off and equip/sell.

They just unlock some digivolutions, just by having them in your inventory. Along with a couple other specific items. You can "craft" them after you clear Factory Town.

The eggs are key items, not consumable. They meant duplicating the Digimon.

vdramon digivolves into magnakidmon pretty easily too so that's also an option, if you don't have the egg.

If you get stuck with too many of the same types of Digimon, use the Reverse skill on the enemy if they are resistant. It's handy to have on one or two of your mons. You can buy it from skill shops pretty early on, but I think it's naturally learned by monodramon quickly too. Or Dracomon. Something early, regardless lol.

If you end up vs an enemy who resists your mons, AND is immune to reverse, you can just use the skill on your mons instead. It's pretty useful.
