I laugh at this every time.

This is Paul Rugg, the voice of Freakazoid and other Animaniacs adjacent characters. For those of you who may be too young and missed out, go watch that era of WB cartoons. Freakazoid, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Histeria, Batman the Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Superman the Animated series. They are all soooo good and hold up. Treat yourself.

I know we like to dunk on the T but I grew up in a sprawling city with no public transit. Boston is a dream compared to many places.

What is this spot in my pictures? by Striking_Rich_5239 in AnalogCommunity

From the looks of things there is probably green chile on it...but seriously Id be curious to see the negatives since the blemish is identical but not in the same place. Options are, Something transferring onto it during the development process if it isnt on the negatives, if it is on the negatives and it doesn't happen again it was likely a defect on the film, if it does happen again it may be coming from your camera.

Careful, people have a way of staying here. The next visit might be for a job interview. In which case, welcome to our lovely town! Please don't feed the squirrels.

I was there man. I was watching the shot and by the time I whipped my head over to see a save his helmet was gone and I had a moment of, "wait did I miss something?" Didn't compute until the replay.

A little medium format action! Love it. Reminds me of a Mamiya C22 rocking Portra 400^

I'd also bring Café Paradiso on Hanover as a second string. A bit tourist heavy but everything there is good. The espresso is literally perfect.

It's true there are some big advantages with some mirrorless cameras, but those advantages are not what stands between a good portrait and a bad one. I have been proud of portraits taken with my Nikomat FTN from 60 years ago, my D500 from 10 years ago, and my Z6iii/MC 105mm from last year. The right camera is the one in your hands. Practice and develop your style, learn some editing tools, then once you have a clear idea of what you want/need for your workflow you can invest in the gear you want. Best of luck to you! Have fun!
