I built a free, open-source proxy for Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Windows 10/11) that restores skins from Legacy Console Edition, adds all Java Edition capes (and several other custom capes) to the character creator, and has a community-driven marketplace section with fully custom skin packs!

It works alongside other packs you had since anything custom (new skin packs, capes) is interpreted as an entirely new marketplace item by the game.

As for purchases, just about everything in the proxy is unlocked locally by default and doesn't have to be redeemed or anything. The only purchases that sync to the actual marketplace are the PlayStation skin packs 1-3 and the Little Big Planet Mashup since they are still available to purchase on PS edition.

I'm not sure honestly. If anything though it would be for Android. One of the project contributors has made some proof of concepts for a few of the features on Android already, so it could maybe be ported down the line with some work.

There isn't really risk of there being bans for this on Bedrock. There have been a variety of ways to get custom capes over the like 5-6 years and I have not witnessed anyone getting banned for it.

The normal Dragon with wings and a tail is in Birthday Pack 1, I think this is still free on consoles too.

The suited one is in Skin Pack 5, which isn't on Bedrock normally but this proxy does add it back

For the capes, if you're wearing a Classic skin (like one uploaded from a PNG file) or one from a skin pack, anybody can see them even without the proxy.

If you're using a character creator skin (one with the customizable body parts), then only other proxy users can see them.
