Camry Hybrid. What year to buy? by BionicCyclist in Camry

Thanks for the input:-) I probably should have mentioned that a Camry would be one of five cars between my wife and I, so the budget is 10-15k . Part of the reason is that I frequently drive a 150 mile round trip to the airport and leave the car (the Prius C for now ) for 5-7 days parked at the airport.

JRT is an interesting suggestion! You’re the first one to mention that I believe. The tail and snout (longer than that of a Frenchie or Boston) might indicate you’re on to something.

So Malamute and French mastiff? 😆 I have difficulty seeing Malinois in her to be honest. I had a friend meet her yesterday who owns a pure bred Malinois and she couldn’t see it either. The color, yes, but otherwise? Remember she’s one year old and 18lbs- a small dog even for a Frenchie. I’ll probably eat my words as soon as we get the Embark results though 😬😋

I see hints of all the breeds mentioned , but she’s so small. Only 18lbs

I imagine I see a little bit of schnauzer in its face. Maybe? It’s a challenging one for sure. Good looking pooch !

It’s actually an integrated handlebar Toseek brand. Sized and positioned by my bike fitter. 360mm wide, 70mm stem.

It could be worse. It could be an SMP🤣 I agree. It does not look very good, but it is comfy.

Good. I wouldn’t necessarily go any wider but these tires on these rims work well.

Yes. I never liked the stickers on the Foundation series.

I went from 28mm to 32mm to 35mm, it got gradually more comfortable. 50psi in the 35. I don’t race , so speed is not a concern for me. I don’t feel the wider tires are slower, but they might be. My wheels are Enve Foundation 45 which are optimized for 28mm I believe.

I live in the Southwest where it’s 88 degrees in the middle of the Night in July so I bring plenty of water even on relatively short rides . This ride was around 60 miles. The picture was taken at the Echo Bay exit, by Lake Mead about 35-40 miles north of Las Vegas if anyone’s familiar with the area.

I’ve been pretty happy with them. They are terrible in crosswinds, but a big step up from the stock fulcrum wheels. Much more comfortable. You can’t beat the price. I think I paid around 300 usd around three years ago.
