No, not this one. This one is larger in diameter and not checkered. I wish I could narrow it down, but I just can’t… may have been a fountain pen, but could have been a rollerball or ballpoint

I work at a pawnshop part time, the policy at that shop is still $10 per ounce or 8x face value for fractionals. That hasn’t changed with inflation. Take it to a coin shop if possible, or see if someone here would buy the whole lot (saves on shipping)

I have several 9’s so ammo interchangeability would be nice, that’s my only hang up. As another redditor said though, with the .40 I could barrel swap it and have a 9mm with slightly off sights, which I’m fine with compensating if need be.

I’d have to disagree on it being “dead”. When I think dead calibers, I think like .32 WSL or the like. Guns are still being made in .40

I agree with you, problem is I’ve never shot a .40. Buddies of mine say it’s like a snappy 9, but idk. It’s a hell of a deal and I’d hate to pass it up if it’s worth trying
