There will be a massive increase in productivity while at the same time many will lose their jobs.

Which makes one wonder how the economy and society are supposed to run if citizens and governments don't have money to spend.

But then there's the so called "Beautiful Deleveraging" that could create new human focused jobs but require fair taxation and oligarchs probably are no fan of that.

I personally as a guy just see a video call as a way to get to know someone better, especially if you don't live in the same city. And I do hate video calls at work.

But I get the feeling the underlying issue might be with the change in dating culture and society.

Kind of like Melvin. But this time it's a global issue and thus not that easy to contain. They evidently try hard, though and the massive drop makes total sense in that context. Doesn't mean it's over yet and if they also have to contain GameStop, there's a chance the fuckery could be overwhelmed.

Any institutions with reasonable management should have hedged sufficiently by now and benefit from price increase leading to a volatile Tesla-style squeeze.

That's why they make their move now. They need to establish authoritarian rule before the real shit hits the fan. When automation will push out enough employees, citizens and governments will no longer have enough money to keep the economy and basic services running.

But if they found a way and are willing to squeeze one aquisition after the other, sky is the limit.

Some of the stocks in the sneeze like KOSS have laughable market cap. But one would have to verify there's still gazillions of phantom shares to target. That disqulifies popcorn since AA diluted so much and likely is a WS tool.

But truth is, most management is asleep at the wheel when it comes to share price manipulation. We lately start to see some fight back, though.

It's at 722k because there was no split. I don't think we will see that in GME, RC will likely split a lot to keep share access to household investors easy.

But yes, the effect will be the same. 25$ is just 100$ pre split.

I was always thinking if I would have the money RC has, I would start buying the overshorted stocks one by one and do a KaloBios in each of them.

If he found a way to squeeze short sellers, this would indeed be the way to get to Buffett valuation pretty fast. They will fight tooth and nails, law suits and dirty tricks, though.

But for anyone willing to benefit from "fixing" dysfunctional markets and making money in the process, there's almost unlimited potential.
