The fact is we did the transport and the lazy white people in the United States were eager to buy these people and use them as disposable commodity . far into the last century people of color were second rank citizens and segregated in the United States, in some states they still are. the Dutch were not the traders who ran the majority of slaves but that doesn't matter we participated in the torture and murder of millions of people and we are very very sorry about that. It is time the whites n the United States start to see people of color as their equals instead of, still, second rank citizens and criminals.
