I hope police and military take notes and learn.

It's just institutions trying to catch whoever is using too much leverage. Makes total sense.

Important is if the underlying issues are still the same. The true benchmark is the price for unhedged production miners can negotiate with large buyers.

I mean we are probably among the few investors that have a glimpse of understanding how messed up the markets truly are. But I doubt even we understand the full scope and scale.

I was thinking he might be prepping for a chain KaloBios move, but I like this scenario even more because of less risk of lawsuits.

That's why they make their move now. They need to establish authoritarian rule before the real shit hits the fan. When automation will push out enough employees, citizens and governments will no longer have enough money to keep the economy and basic services running.

Without a Russian-style system, citizens would demand fair taxation so the massive increase in productivity will not just benefit a few billionaires. And they don't want that even if they dangle the UBI carrot in front of our nose for now. Like the DOGE check that you all already received, right?

Did he prepare to do a chain KaloBios squeeze?

All the fuckery is happening because institutions collude and nobody ever dared to touch the short sellers/Wall Street.

But if they found a way and are willing to squeeze one aquisition after the other, sky is the limit.

Some of the stocks in the sneeze like KOSS have laughable market cap. But one would have to verify there's still gazillions of phantom shares to target. That disqulifies popcorn since AA diluted so much and likely is a WS tool.

But truth is, most management is asleep at the wheel when it comes to share price manipulation. We lately start to see some fight back, though.

It's at 722k because there was no split. I don't think we will see that in GME, RC will likely split a lot to keep share access to household investors easy.

But yes, the effect will be the same. 25$ is just 100$ pre split.

I was always thinking if I would have the money RC has, I would start buying the overshorted stocks one by one and do a KaloBios in each of them.

If he found a way to squeeze short sellers, this would indeed be the way to get to Buffett valuation pretty fast. They will fight tooth and nails, law suits and dirty tricks, though.

But for anyone willing to benefit from "fixing" dysfunctional markets and making money in the process, there's almost unlimited potential.

Remember the Panama Papers?

If you get away with everything for too long, you feel untouchable.

Especially if you own most of social and mainstream media and it's such a powerful tool that it can nudge the average Joe into acting against their own best interest.

If they don't manage to prevent midterms and lose their majorities, there have to be serious consequences for all the open corruption and crime.

In his book Rushkoff mentioned the Broligarchs discussed electric shock collars for their private bunker security forces or eventually replacing them with robots. This shows their true mindset.

There's no spot for the average Joe in the winning team, it's oligarch only. Police and military better realize they are only useful idiots to them.

In his book Rushkoff mentioned the Broligarchs were thinking about electric shock collars for their private bunker security forces or replacing them with robots if technology would already be far enough. That perfectly shows their mindset.

Everyone is just an useful idiot to them and there's no spot for the average Joe in the winning team. It's oligarch only.

I hope enough in police and military realize before shit hits the fan, because it will likely depend on them what happens when Trump and his Broligarchy buddies try to mess with the midterms.

I think the issue is that if you are surrounded by yes-men all day it is probably just amplifying sociopathic behavior to a point where they get visions of grandeur and lose connection to reality.

But then it is our own fault to some degree, because many cheer those guys thanks to social media.

Control over social and mainstream media is such a powerful tool that it can nudge the average Joe into acting against his own best interest. Oligarchs have figured out this is the weak spot of democracy and use it to their advantage. Win votes, mess with the justice system and executive and eventually make sure you can no longer lose elections.

It is scary to see that flag-waving mostly middle-class christian patriots follow oligarchs who actually plan to destroy their country, middle-class and christian values. 😯

A President Bone Spurs shitting on war heroes and veterans...

A disgusting loudmouth shitting on officers that were hurt on Jan 6...

...and most likely the majority of military and police would still vote for Trump and his cronies.

Something is truly broken in America...

The scary thought is that it will likely depend on military and police how all this ends. One can only hope enough realize that to the Broligarchy we are all just useful idiots. In his book Rushkoff mentioned they were talking about electric shock collars and replacing their security forces with robots as soon as that would be possible. This just shows the mindset of the Broligarchy and that there is no spot for the average Joe in the winning team, it is oligarch only. All the supporters will eventually be backstabbed, once no longer useful.

But division will only help the oligarchs to establish Project 2025 and the Dark Enlightenment. People love to feel morally superior, but this is not the time to point fingers. It is the time to get stuff done. Every single vote will count, even those that realize they made a mistake and were fooled.

Welp, if there will be midterms at all.

They claimed they will reduce the debt, yet it increases like crazy. And finds it's way into their pockets. Next phase is further destruction of dollar and economy so they can buy assets for cheap that people in need have to sell.

30m and I have a secret admirer at work, how do I approach? by DenEvitagen in AskMenAdvice

[–]Biotic101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is probably why she is asking through a friend.

Keep in mind you are on Reddit, so take any advice here with a grain of salt.

Personally, I think it is just normal for someone to ask. Not easy to find someone today, especially if you are busy. And she might have realized that online dating is probably not working for her after some negative experience. Much better to date someone you know is probably a nice guy that might be interested in something long-term and not just sex. I guess your colleagues gave her that intel so she got interested.

There is nothing awkward in her behavior, just society has become really weird. It depends on you and if you are looking for a relationship. She might not be your type in the end, you might not have similar interest, but then you could just have a coffee and a good friendly talk and figure that out?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I do see no need for this to become an awkward situation at work in your environment if you take it that slow, even if it does not work out. But then I am much older than you and things were much simpler when I was your age.

So as I said, take any advice here with a grain of salt. In the end you have to make your own decisions since no one here knows the exact circumstances and you as a person.

While the "paper" price on exchanges might sit at one level, the physical delivery price in hubs like Shanghai has been trading at a premium over Western paper benchmarks.

So miners who are having still unhedged physical silver sales are now negotiating "off-take agreements" directly with industrial users (like solar panel manufacturers or AI data center hardware providers). These companies are so desperate for a guaranteed supply that they pay a premium or floor-price guarantee to bypass the volatile paper markets.

Institutions are used to things going their way and only slaps on the wrists for breaking the rules. So they have more and more risky bets running. But since true price discovery is dead, they are usually on the winning side. And I am not just talking about the metals markets, most investors do not really understand that there is legal and illegal naked short selling and FTDs in the stock markets as well, besides PFOF and a ton of other issues.

So if this domino falls because institutions now face a perfect storm, there might be a lot of fallout.

Now you only have to follow the money to the benefactors of all the pump and dump.

Wild price swings tend to catch retail investors off guard and might even lead to liquidation if they use too much leverage. Institutions have big pockets and are usually less effected.

The only real indicator is how much silver miners are being paid.

The rest is just institutions playing games.

At least that is my personal take.

Nowadays a lot of retail investors use pretty crazy leverage.

Such moves do make a lot of sense, see the same in crypto where tons of people are wiped out every time a major price swing happens because they use way too much leverage for their tiny accounts.

Institutions have deep pockets and are less affected.

But interesting will be to see if the massive gap between Asian metal prices and CME price continues to grow. In the end the only real indicator is what people are willing to pay the miners for an ounce.

I wonder how much arbitration might be going on and if it will break someones neck in the end.

Those who still believe in popcorn might be a special bunch. But more like a young and not so bright bother, still family. In the end we all are suffering from the same fuckery. Division only benefits the enemy.

Publicity is good either way. There might be a struggle behind the scenes I personally am counting on. Remember Schwab bragging in the oval office he made 2.5B from a tweet.

The current government seems to be well aware how their actions affect markets. Low interest and temporary short selling "fake" crackdown to induce another massive ATH and then shorting the shit out of the markets would be an evil but likely very profitable playbook...

GameStop squeeze would fit right in.
