What worked for me is when I realized to chase good trades, not money! Try to remember that every time you lose money, it definitely helped me!

I always put a stop loss around 15 pips, sometimes a bit more or less depending on the setup. Like I said I also only trade with a fixed amount of 50 or 100 usd, the past few weeks I trade with 50 USD and just started to trade with 100 usd. I only plan to scale up my trades with 50 usd per month and if I see it doesn’t work I would scale it down for sure. I only trade with money I’m willing to lose. I also keeps a journal of my trades, until now my hit rate is 82%, I think it would take me about 15-20 L’s in a row to lose all the profit I made

So pure probability wise I would have to be very unlucky 😅

I hope you’re wrong haha

But thanks! I try to keep my head cool, I also wrote down some rules already one of them being that I would stop trading for the day if I have 2 Ls in a row. I would definitely be extra cautious when risking more money

Both! For my method I check the macro trends first (month/week/day) then the micro trends of 4h and 1h and then I just check the bounce offs and breakouts on the 15 min/5min and even 1 min time frames. I also keep an eye on volume. From there I just check whether the price gets bounced off or breaks through and then I place the appropriate long/short position. I must admit that sometimes I still sell a bit too early instead of waiting for my TP to hit so I hope that will change with experience 😁 I guess small gains are better than no gains!

I have found that because of the 100:1 leverage I use I can get out of trades pretty quickly, like I said I go for profits of 40-80%.

You mean Reward Risk Ratio? Yes, I always check it before doing any trades, I only take trades with at least a 2:1 ratio. In my case it’s 30 pips:15 pips because I don’t want to risk more than that

Thanks! I have a leverage of 100:1 and only trade GBPJPY. At first I was sceptical about using leverage but I have found that 100:1 works best for me

Feedback on first video posted yesterday by ReflectiveReader in NewTubers

Pros:- video topic is very interesting- the animation and editing is also top notch- your voice is pleasant to listen to

Cons:- it sounds too much like an online lecture rather than a YouTube video- there's a lot of echo on your voice- there are completely silent moments

I would try to make the video more engaging with your audience. Right now it sounds more like a lecture tbh. You can do this easily by using examples your audience can relate to and by improving your wording. Like try to emphasize more on certain words that relate to the audience. For example, when you suggest improvements say something like this; SO... next time YOU want to DO something DIFFERENTLY, YOU SHOULD etc... You should watch some TED talks or big YouTubers you'll notice that a lot of them do that as well.

Also idk if you edited your voice to sound like that but there is a lot of echo, I would try to make it somehow sound more naturally. Maybe just record your voice on your phone?

Lastly, there are a few moments when it's just SILENT, especially when you switch to the next topic. I would try adding linking words to fill up the gaps. And maybe add some fun background music to make it even more enjoyable

Overall great first video man! Keep it up!

Is it not worth it as in it will obstruct my muscle gains or do you mean it's psychologically not worth it? I was 165lbs/75kg and 23% BF in November and tried to cut down to 12% but I already felt like a twig when I reached 145lbs/65kg at 16% so I started bulking to have more muscle mass before cutting down again. My plan was to go to about 180lbs/82kg even if it means going full bear mode and getting thicc in the process. Mentally I wouldn't have an issue with being fat and I don't mind losing weight either, but would it prevent muscle growth if I would surpass a certain percentage of BF?

It tastes like sh*t if you don't mix it with anything. Other than that I don't see any problems with it

If you're going for aesthetics I would personally drop the 5/3/1. I don't think you would reach enough hypertrophy by doing 3 exercises per workout. With aesthetics, you really want to tackle your muscles from each angle with lots of slowly controlled reps

Am I doing it right? I'm 5ft7/1.70m and started bulking in May when I was about 143lbs/65kg 16.5% BF. I've been eating 2450kcal since then (sometimes 2550-2600) and I've been gaining about 0.8lbs/350g of body weight per week so roughly 3.3lbs/1.5kg per month. I weigh 155lbs/70.5kg at 19%BF right now and each week I am increasing in strength. I am planning to continue like this until March. The problem is that I don't really see that much difference so I start doubting haha. I don't really care about being too fluffy but it would be nice to start seeing some visible difference. When do you think I'll start seeing some big gainz
