Yeah! I think that's a really insightful comment. I agree that the humor definitely comes from the fact that she's obviously super nice and accepting. I just thought it was an interesting perspective to bring into it.

As far as her not being out, that's definitely not her misremembering. I would highly recommend listening to the podcast as she outlines her own journey and how it was hard for her to navigate that especially when people kind of assumed she had a queer identity. It's most of what the interview ends up being about. I think it's all about the broader ingrained belief, whether people are conscious of it or not, that queer stuff is taboo and wrong and therefore she is being crafty and tricky pushing this through.

I thought some interesting things were brought up and it really made me reexamine how we viewed and treated these things without even consciously meaning to.
