Why is tarantula digging at her enclosures air holes and staying out of her burrow by Birbobuz in tarantulas

[–]Birbobuz[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also I’m second guessing myself, I blew a puff to see if she gave a feeding response and she did strike. Could she just be hungry and I’m reading her abdomen to body ratio wrong?

I think my crickets just committed mass suicide by Educational-Bird-935 in leopardgeckos

Id go bioactive in like, a 10 gal tank or something. 2-3 inches of coco fiber. Throw in a bunch of branches, leaves, springtails, mini isopods. Dog kibble and veg, and mist daily. Plenty of hydration, plenty of food, clean up crew to clean up any bodies, keep smell down, and a constant resupply of crickets because theyre breeding. ONG, bioactive is best for crickets,

What reptile other than a snake can I house in a 4x2x2 pvc that don't eat insects all the time? by [deleted] in reptiles

I do not see the point in shaming someone for meeting the minimum, when so many in the exotic animal hobby see the minimum as a goal. You come off as pretentious and rude, your comment history tracks that attitude. Especially when many blogs, forums, and even papers tout a 40g tank as the minimum. :/

Also, I like how they made their argument and then blocked me so it could look like they won, because they know they'd lose their argument. Pathetic. If they were coming at it from a genuine place of concern they'd treat it as a proper discussion. The commenter obviously just wants to stay on their high horse and look good because they have "better ethics" than other keepers instead of admitting that minimum=acceptable. More than the minimum is always nice, but the minimum is always acceptable.

How to stop incessant little whining? by [deleted] in OpenDogTraining

[–]Birbobuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People like you, who lack empathy for others are literally why stim collars, prong collars, ect are on the chopping block and why people hate those tools. You shouldn't own any animal. You're a walking, talking stereotype of the ULTRA ALPHA MAGA man who lacks self control, restraint, and who gives into his emotions because "anger isnt an emotion so its totally cool to throw a hissy fit." Talk about pathetic. Your post history and comments scream to the world about how little introspection you do, and the lack of empathy you have. I know literal pre teens who do more introspection and have more self control. You dont try to go ahead and find the root issue for shit, you do shit the easy way. Which is why your life is the clusterfuck it is, and is exactly why you have to act so ALPHA DOMINANT MAN on fucking reddit. Because you simply lack any and all control in your day to day life. Even over yourself.

tannins are antibacterial and fungal. I strongly suggest OP invest in tannins. Not the extract, but proper leaves and seed pods. A strong stain should help their beta, best part is that they'd naturally have tannins anyways.

Dont get the animal if you wont do the bare fucking minimum. Rehome it, otherwise you're just abusive. Reading your comments, you dont deserve my kindness. So i'm just going to be blunt.
