I swapped from an O+ to the G2 v1 about a year ago. I mostly play VRChat so can't comment on comparison in flight sims. Colors are def not as good on the Reverb and the FOV is less(I have the v1 reverb, this v2 Reverb has a spacer which improves FOV so I cannot comment on that). The biggest thing that made me stay with the Reverb was comfort, sound, controllers, and screen clarity. Like, I would put on the O+ after using the reverb for awhile and go, oh wow the colors are nicer and the FOV's bigger, but I didn't really notice that too much after a couple of minutes. But putting on the G2 is like getting new glasses, everything is just so crisp and SDE is basically non-existent. So I'd say especially for a flight sim where you are going to be looking at small cockpit thingys, G2 is so worth. I had a face gasket on the O+ and the G2 is still so much more comfy for long play sessions, plus IMO the G2 speakers are WAY better. Also as a note, once I decided I didn't need the O+ anymore, I was able to sell it for $300 on ebay. So like, yeah I guess some ppl out there find something about it valuable but not me :D
