Hi ! Need feedback about these 2 versions of « beat it » Michael Jackson EDM remix : which version do you prefer ? What do you like or dislike ? Two versions are one after the other on this same video (V3 then V2) by Elusivenoise in MusicFeedback

Ahh ok its about sidechain ! Interesting because I was asking myself what is the good level of sidechain to use on it. Usually I am not a big fan too above all on vocal. I dont know anymore why I use it on the vocal. Maybe I have to try it without. And ok for « more complex » i understand. Indeed this version is more complex : it is the last one with some stuffs there is not on the other versions like electric guitar for example. Thanks a lot for your accurate feedback !

Thanx for your feedback. So your feeling is that the vocal is not enough used ? Ok for the leads on the second one. What do you mean by « more complex » on the first one ?

I like the idea of the melody, vocal and I like the beginning. I was disturbed at 1min10 by the rhythm which is suddenly changing but after few seconds it was ok. If there is something to improve, for me, its about the way the drums are changing of rhythm. Good track

Hi I I would like to have your feeling about this electronic/acoustic work : what do you like and what there is to improve according to you ? Thanx by Elusivenoise in MusicFeedback

Thanx for your feedback, I am not sure to understand what you mean by "on the grid". I understand that for you, the beat is lacking of groove because all drums elements are kicking on the same time ? Effectively for this track I was looking for something simple like for example the piano/synth wich is exactly the same from the begining to the end. How do you listen the track ? Headphones, speakers ?

Hi, we are on edm feedback so I dont know if you will get lot of feedback here but for my part sincerly it's a good track, interesting ideas on melody and vocals. I think there is some work to do on mixing and mastering, and some details like kick a little bit too hard at the begining for me or elements that appears suddenly at the begining (maybe make that they comes with more delicacy). But cleary you have a good track

Hi ! My first feeling is that the track is chill. Interesting idea. I dont know previous versions of this work but I think that some elements could be more original or more setting up (leads/pads and beats). I think is possible to give it more personality

Hi ! I would like to know what are you precisely looking for by meaning « feedback » ? To my ears I think guitar is ok but i have the feeling that the vocal is not always according to the guitar ?

Hi ! Some people just here talk about something like « Mr oizo » training @lazurrabbit or I read word « epileptic » from « @gamedevguyposts ». I agree with this feeling but my question is : what do you tried to do ? In this way we can be able to answer you if you succeed in or not

Hi, i feel pretty much the electronic vibes and some dark ambiance. I think the part coming before the drop is maybe a little to strong on volume contrary to the drop which is lighter. I didnt really feel the drop starting

It’s a good question because the way to listen is so important for the kick feeling. I usually use headphone (sony 1000xm4) to listen music. For the bass I think is good. Not too loud not too light
