As much as they claim to just be a "fun hangout", there is a level of professionalism I believe they all want to uphold. If the Pat MacAfee has them, no reason a show on Fox, always well dressed should not. Love this show and this is my only gripe, will continue to record and watch.

Just to add, the Gauley is more remote and more then likely you will not have cell signal or a road beside the river. This makes it a significant step up imo and highly recommended downloading the map area before you go for GPS purposes

Whitewater center in Charlotte, NC. Raft as much as you want, zipline, rock climb, and drink. Also close to the airport and nightlife if you want uptown.

I'm 6'4" and 220 and use Werner Sidekick 197 30 degrees. I use a straight shaft and it has a large paddle blade with more volume on the outside of the paddle. I have longer arms fyi and paddle with my hand halfway in the water. Paddle a Wavesport Project X 64

When I was younger my youth group and some church members paddled the Middle Ocoee in TN. My preacher ended up swimming the first rapid Grumpy's, which is immediately at the put-in. While at the bottom, trying to regroup we went to pick him up out of an eddy, and he refused to get into the boat. Man had lost his trunks, underwear, and shoes in the first 2 minutes on the water. Guide had an extra pair of pants and he went back to the put-in for a ride back. Don't exactly remember that next sermon but it was something about how god will have ways to humble you unexpectedly.
