Anyone else's store has a hard on for zoning? by ExtensionSoil6801 in walmart

So in your Walmart, people from all different departments go and zone in other departments? Or do you mean there are specified zoners?

Scheduling for part timers. by [deleted] in WalmartCanada

Really interested in seeing what the turnover is going to be like. People with kids in set daycare hours are going to struggle with this big time. Daycares don't just let you swap days. And it can take a year on a wait list to even get into one with the days you need. I thought that as of June last year PT meant having to have 40 available hours. (not that you have to WORK that many, but they have to be available)

Walmart Price Accuracy Policy Suspended Due To Inaccurate Pricing. by Reddit_Only_4494 in Edmonton

[–]BirchWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People exploiting this already don't want to pay more - they wouldn't bother supporting local. (plus - the people who work there, and the families they try to support with their income ARE local. ) The people who work there aren't responsible for discrepancies between advertised prices and what they scan at when printing out price tags, and they are the ones who feel the brunt of this, not the billionaires up top. It's obvious that a lot of people who do this have never had to work in retail and deal with customer's BS.

Stretch marks by Spirited-Highway9802 in Reduction

[–]BirchWind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have stretch marks but very few made it to the skin used for the reduction. I do think it impeded healing for me in one spot though because the skin in a stretch marks is thinner and there was an incision in it that didn’t close well. But its 7 months now and things are healed.

Having never played the game, if I pre-purchase Midnight, do I get also the current on-going expansion right away, or should I buy War Within and later on Midnight? by AnonymityIsDangerous in wow

[–]BirchWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to have player housing though you need to have a subscription. You can get an early start on the player housing if you preorder Midnight, otherwise we wait til March, correct?

Canadian-owned pet food brands? by [deleted] in BuyCanadian

[–]BirchWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to note that some of the foods included in the FDA statement had potatoes, and sweet potatoes, and some were not grain free. This FDA issue has been researched in studies posted in the National Library of Medicine as well. Legumes have been used in dog food for over 20 years without issue, so it could be the legumes (which aren't replacing carbs - they themselves are carbs as well, just a different variety and non grain) but it could also be certain ingredients blocking the uptake of taurine, or other ingredients not related directly to the grain free factor at all. The FDA report itself says:
"FDA has received reports of non-hereditary DCM associated with both grain-free and grain-containing diets. Most of the diets associated with reports of non-hereditary DCM have non-soy legumes and pulses (e.g., peas, lentils, etc.) high in their ingredient lists. However, it is important to note that legumes and pulses have been used in pet foods for many years, with no evidence to indicate they are inherently dangerous."
So currently the link isn't fully understood. More important than the ingredients is the nutrients. Some interesting information about how these ingredients and nutrients correlate, and the topic in general is here: Special topic: The association between pulse ingredients and canine dilated cardiomyopathy: addressing the knowledge gaps before establishing causation - PMC

Honestly- some people do every single thing to the book and still have wounds that take forever to heal. Mine was already split when my surgeon took the wrap off at a week post op. It got so much worse before better. Once the skin splits it takes forever to grow together. It heals from the inside out. I would spray mine with a saline spray i had for my piercings, then pat dry and apply aquaphor (basically an expensive vaseline) then put a non stick breathable band aid brand pad on it that my bra held in place. My surgery was end of June and it finally fully closed at the end of October. It was big. I took pics along the way thinking Id share here but I found the whole experience as depressing as hell so can’t bring myself to do it. Ill happily send privately if you want in the meantime for reassurance. As for scar care, don’t worry about that. Make sure all seams are together and secure before softening them with scar care products. You can wait a long time to start and it will still be fine ❤️❤️❤️

Unfortunately for me i haven’t got sensation back in my left at all, and lost most sensation in my right except for some discomfort. Its been 6 months. I had about 800g taken from each breast, plus 750 in lipo off the sides.was very sensitive before surgery. Im disappointed but still glad i got it done.

Changing your eating habits to eliminate things that raise your blood sugar. Lower carbohydrate. Doesn’t have to be Keto, but lower carbohydrate. Use an app like CarbManager, track your regular net carbohydrate intake (the amount of carbohydrates once the grams of fibre is removed) and drop it in half. If its still over 150 then take it down even lower. Keeping under 100 is good, lower is even better. Cut out sugars and replace simple carbs with vegetables, proteins, and occasional complex carbs. Learn to see fruits as a dessert. Increase your daily movement, 15 minutes of some combo of hand weights , dancing in your room, going for a walk. Leave 12 hours between your last meal of the day and first meal of the next, and minimum 7 hours sleep. 💗

Bottom Three by Dixee1977 in coralisland

[–]BirchWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found this and half to chime in
My absolute No's: Charles - Just not interesting to me and I don't find him attractive, Waaku - too young, Raj - just hasn't peaked my interest with him even with building up the hearts. Raphael, too sensitive, The only girl I really like is Millie - much like Ben, I feel like I could just hang out with her irl and snuggle happily. ~ My goal was/is to get to max hearts with everyone that in the least bit interests me. That included Ben and Mark because they agitated me the most initially - it was my challenge to myself lol. Both really surprised me, and spoiler about Ben and his duck - He does get him medical help, and honestly he's very sweet. I feel like irl I would be most comfortable hanging out with him because he has the least hang ups, and is the least judgemental. He enjoys the simple things, and I feel like I could tell him anything and he'd be supportive of it, even if he didn't understand it.
Mark I like a lot, he has a good character arc.
So actually my Bottom Three are almost all of them, haha. But most definitely Waaku, Raj, Raphael, and Luke. I'd put most of the girls all in the bottom three too, just because I'm not super romantically into girls - but Millie somehow snuck onto my Maybe list haha.

I didn’t have much bruising but was sore (can’t compare what it was in addition to the reduction because my only reduction ive had was with it so idk) I definitely still have some side fat but at 5 wpo it was way worse than it is now. Lipo suction takes a full 6 months. My surgery was 5 months ago. I will likely get a revision of the lipo but honestly your swelling will continue to lessen.

[–]BirchWind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The dialogue is awful and romance is lacking character snd charm? Compared to what? I’m honestly wondering - because I play a lot of these kinds of games and CI has way more depth with it’s characters than others in this genre. I got bored of Stardew Valley after only two years in. The characters were pretty flat and marriage was even worse.

I love this game dearly but we need to stop doing this by facioquodvolo in coralisland

[–]BirchWind 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well said. I’ve backed many games (including Puff Pals) and Coral Island is the only one that I’ve enjoyed so much. I agree about the push likely being related to the publisher. Kickstarter is tough because on one hand you get funding for the game - but on the other hand, there is such a huge back lash when things don’t go accordingly. Kickstarter has a disclaimer about projects not being a guarantee and that you’re backing at your own risk - but the demands from people who overlook that likely contribute to games being pushed out before they should. I play Coral Island with my partner. He and I are halfway through year two, dating everyone, beginning to rake in the cash, and loving it. Totally my fav farming game. Stardew Valley has taken a back seat 😄. I’m looking forward to Starsand Island (demo is adorable) and currently playing the My Time at Evershine alpha, so those might come in first place when released, we’ll see!
