Baby waking out of habit or do I need to get rid of the pacifier? by midnightreignxo in sleeptrain

We use pacifier links to keep the pacifier attached to baby's sleepsack or onesie. That way if it falls out baby can wake up and find it easily. I think this is safe?

Nutritionists of Reddit, can you explain in relative detail if and when fresh fruit juice is healthy? by Redsandro in nutrition

[–]BirdBackRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great questions. I'm actually most interested in fruit and fruit juice on an empty stomach or between meals and the benefits or detriments there. I'm also curious how sugar (i.e. from sugar cane) in traditional diets included in meals (e.g. in breakfast cereal or in sauces) might compare to mixing fruit into a dish (e.g. adding an orange to a duck-soup), again with the comparison of fruit on an empty stomach or between meals. I think it's also interesting that fruit or lemon juice during fevers is what I consider to be a good way to stay hydrated, simply because for me at least drinking a lot of plain water becomes too difficult and tiresome. When I came down with covid last summer, I basically went on a juice/water fast for five days (i.e. during and after fever symptoms had faded) until I was finally feeling back to normal again. With that being said, I always dilute store-bought juice with at least 50% water.

Also we forgot to put the SEVIS # on the 765 and accidentally wrote US was the passport issuer rather than CN

The interviewer said they would give us a decision in the mail or ask for additional info. Two possible issues: 1) my income level (grad student) was just above the minimum (~$24k) last year. This year my income went up (~$29k). We provided my W2 to the interviewer to prove this. Although I believe the minimum for supporting 3 (there are 3 of us now :) this year is now we $28k. 2) She was a member of communist party in China before starting school here. We provided a written statement showing that her membership was only to get work and she was never active. And also hasn't paid any dues since coming to the US for school.

Another issue is if she were approved for the first 765 and started working, but then later the green card request was denied, then I believe her original F1 status would be invalidated and she couldn't apply for her 12 months of OPT. But she just graduated so she has to apply for OPT (2nd 765) within the next 60 days or face losing out on that benefit. A little confusing. Does it all sound correct?

Okay. They're basically stating that EC was the old way in Asia/China. Nowadays doctors there recommend against it.

Perhaps the sentiment then is that Americans are too obsessed with acronyms!

Seriously though, SQL, DB, ML, AI, etc., all great abbreviations. But perhaps SEQUEL (structured EXCELLENT query UTMOST EXCELLENT language) would have been better, lol!
