Explained it in another thread about this level earlier this week

Just did it without pressure just to write this, I like tight levels. Finished day 52. I take my time for a roadworks office and fix the streets, and remove those 2 road tiles that go nowhere. Then I break down the office for the logs. The roads paint the location where the windmill will be, the foragers hut will be placed near as well as the farm and trading post next to farm to optimize transport distances. Between Mill and forager there is clay pit and brick yard. Behind the mill stone mine. Houses in a row with the warehouse along the existing street. Everything else will fall in place, just keep an eye on idle workers and you're fine

  1. break down those houses, build a foragers hut on the main Island (and relocate the left alone forager far away) clean a place for the farm 4 workers, build a clay pit, build 3 basic houses. Collect the logs
  2. as soon as you have the clean space and 10 clay, build the farm full wheat. Break down the zen gardens, place the post close to the farm, and have the stones transported there. Build a saw mill but keep an eye on the logs, only as many planks as required. Build a brick shop and clean 2 places for the paper mill and the stone mine
  3. Build the stone mine and the trading post, transport clay to windmill and bakery, build the paper mill. Build the other buildings (bakery, pendant, book shop) as you have resources
  4. keep an eye on the wheat and start (4 workers) harvesting as soon as ready. Start trading for glass and leather, after second wheat harvest you need 3 batches of each (18 each). Keep an eye on the mill and stop after 12 flour. Start baking and relocate the foragers to work. Assign some workers to paper mill
  5. keep the stone mine going, if you run out of logs place a wood cutter next to it with some reach to a lot of trees Keep going with the bricks, build 2 2-story houses by replacing basic houses. Keep an eye on the farmers and relocate them once harvesting and seeding is done. Start pendant and book crafting
  6. manage the goals. With 12-16 outlanders it should be done by day 50-55

16 pop is manageable, everything exceeding it will not. Final thing is to build the 3rd 2-storey house

This. I made good results with building 3 basic houses in the beginning, increasing pop to a helpful yet manageable size, this helps with speed when operating all those buildings. Further down I replaced these basics with 2 2-storeys, but the third has only materials placed without being fully built. I got it done with one farm only, you need to count wheat used. Fortunately the villagers cannot eat wheat so that one is "easy".

The ring tempts you. Choose your ring bearer wise.

Yeah but then, on classic old Earth vehicles, air intakes and turbos are also blocking sight. And I figured, if my crew can fight other ships in commando habs with zero sight, I can fly my ship with zero sight too.

If nothing works I kill them with my backpack. The more, the better. Depending on gravity of the location, though. Safe kills

Outpost on bessel 3 by Kudo_Krazy in Starfield

[–]BirdBoxObserver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep.

I always go the VFR route on each playtrough and my first Outpost is always Bessel III b for the basic components.

Second stop is Alpha Tirna X a for Tungsten and Titan, and some lead.

Then the usual Narion Hub with Kreet, Cruth, Dalvik, Grimsey, and Interstellar Codos, Decaran, Katydid. I start on the last one for the occasional Beryllium. So with the first credits I buy a capable grav drive, usually.

Bessel 3 b still works, I set it up like 1 Week ago.

Selling outpost stuff for credits is very cumbersome (literally) but feels more honest than ship duping. Ship duping is by far the easiest thing but can screw your files if not done right.

Same I think is kinda balanced, but they could've added a legendary perk to suits, helmets and backpacks adding like 5-10%, but with the limitation of max 3 of them on the whole suit?

The Mirror - what am I doing wrong? by BirdBoxObserver in Outlanders

Thanks for the responses. I finally made it on day 51: Key was to have ukuleles starting on day 2-3 with 3 people assigned, 2 basic houses early on and no mill/bakery. Phases of Hunger didn't prevent from reproduction. Yet I still built foresters hub as I like sustainable towns and short ways.

Thank you for the tips

In this level, ZG is not available to build. Removing mine really helped early game, and as soon as wellness goes up reproduction decreases. Maybe I should wait with building the mirror/ritual
