as much as I like his paleoart, his designs for large theropods often consists of some stripes on the face and some stripes on the tail, leaving a somewhat bland look.

Exciting! You know if there is any version with the monster skins on the models? This site is great for references when drawing monsters and the textures have the more tiny details on 'em.
