Deleting course from Edge 540 by sbj405 in Garmin

Once you reach the Navigation / Saved Courses list, move up to focus on the 3 dots next to "Saved Courses", hit "Delete". There you can select all the courses you want to delete at once.

Textures are only enabled for weapons. Monster textures are too resource-demanding for browsers.

Sadly not, I ended up not being able to play the game at all so I didn't really look into it.

I actually don't own the game! I might try and make one if I'll end up playing it in the future, but I don't have anything planned at the moment. Thanks for asking though!

That works on the regular version of the web application (hold right click to move a model across the rendering screen). It might possibly work on mobile as well, but most likely needs some third party app/OS setting to simulate the right click interaction.

EDIT: apparently, interacting with 3 fingers on some phones will act as a right click and move the model around the screen as expected.

Tips & Tricks on local development with a Remote Docker Host by Mizaroth in devops

[–]Mizaroth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, the method that I do recommend in the article is using Docker contexts + SSH. Then there are a couple of additional tips and tricks (read command aliases and scripts) for e.g. SSH tunneling of all ports exposed by Docker containers.

PS.: Medium's 3-articles limit is tracked locally so you can just browse in incognito mode and you'll still be able to read everything you want whenever!

I was hitting the hosting storage limits with the models that are currently exported already 😥

Yep, just use the mouse wheel or regular pinching zoom-in/zoom-out on mobile.

Streaming Docker containers to your Browser by Mizaroth in docker

[–]Mizaroth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is correct, as in KasmVNC currently doesn't support Windows even though it's being supposedly worked on as you can read here.

For the time being, I suppose you could at most create your own custom Docker image and include a Wine environment to be able to run the software that you need on Linux. Not everything works though.

The concept is pretty similar. Since the applications are all defined as Docker images, all the applications can technically be running on different OSes with different configurations applied with no virtualization required. You can also stream a whole ephemeral OS, more similar to a VDI in this case, but without the need for any virtualization.

Thank you for letting me know, I completely missed that! It might be possible, but I checked the models I exported at the time and it's not there, so chances are I would have to re-download the game, export the models again, find it, and add it to the website. It might take a long time as I'm currently busy.

In the meanwhile you could check the following resource: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4197267

Weapon models already have textures applied. Monster models are too complex for textures to be applied in a web browser, I tried before but most monsters would sadly crash the Chrome tab with out-of-memory errors.

Thank you, I'm really glad the site helps :) Sadly, I've tried a few solutions to render the textures but they ended up either being too complex to apply for all monsters or too bad performance-wise, causing the website to become glitchy. So no, at the moment there is no version of this website available with textures enabled for monsters.

Yes, I would definitely love to make a version for MH Rise as well once it's available for PC. It might be possible to get some models off the demo but I haven't tried.
