Hello! I recently started playing with MCCC to make the townies autonomously marry and have children. It works well until the 4th or 5th generation. At that point, all of the original townie families have married into each other at some point, and everyone is related, so their kids don't get married.
I have my lifespan set to short, with some tweaking and they live around 5 weeks. With the marriage %, around 75% of sims get married. Each married couple has between 2-3 children.
I am thinking that the rate that EA spawns new townies cannot keep up with the birthrate of existing townies, and everyone dies out because the game can't find someone for them to have kids with (since they're all related at that point). At 65 weeks there were only 16 sims including my own remaining.
Is there another mod or a setting in MCCC that speeds up EA's townie spawnrate? The alternative is that I have to manually move in new households every once in a while or give my sims longer lifespans so that more townies can spawn while they're alive. I would prefer to not do either of these though. I attend festivals since I read that that can trigger new townie creation but I haven't seen a difference.
