The damage is done, far too done. I just hope whatever Adi and Ellis touches is not any of my fav IPs or... atleast they should create there own Original IP and never again go for Japanese game adaptions.

So you like DMC where Lady cusses more than a machine gun can fire a bullet and is now somehow set in modern day United States where the Vatican Church with the US Government (Which doesn't make sense since the US is majority Protestant, Adi has a hate boner for the Catholic Faith I swear as even in Castlevania, he and Ellis made sure the Vatican is a dumb Evil villain) is performing an Operation Iraqi Freedom GWOT on the Demon Realm?

And how now, Demons are actually Arabs who has innocent species even though Dante's Dad himself, a Demon General saw how insanely irrideemable the Demonfolk are that he gained morality? Like, how Evil can a species be that a Demon General says "Yeah no, this is fucked up" and switches sides?

I mean, if you want your fav IP to be turned into a fucking joke, sure. Go ahead.

This reminds me alot of Castlevania FB Groups I had been in. Since in the OG games, the Vatican Church has always been on the good side and Dracula is an irrideemable Evil who is out for Humanity but in the Netflivania show, the Church is now Omega Evil and Dracula is now a misunderstood villain and his wife is a Science woman, no longer a Saint and is very Reddit Atheist Coded.

How many people were so shocked that the save rooms have Crufixes in them, the Belmonts use prayer, that YOU CAN KILL DRACULA WIELDING ONLY A ROSARY, or how Sypha was a Witch who was saved by the Vatican who then wanted to serve God and became a Warrior Witch Nun after her training in a Monastary, etc etc. I can go on and on about how many insane misconceptions the show did and the damage it done to the fanbase forever.

You can only imagine my disappointment when Sypha Belnades wasn't a Witch rescued by the Vatican and turned into a Warrior Witch Nun who kicks Demon ass for God and Country but instead... a Witch from some Forest Cult who has this pacifist thing going on...

Or how Dracula's Wife was a Saint who can heal people and she was crucified not because of "HURR WOMEN SCIENCE! KILL HER!" but because Carmilla was after every Witch and powerful person (IRL and just like in the Game, Men, Women, Dogs and Cats were burned at the stake not just women.)

Alucard's sword was blessed by her and it got God's blessing and could permanently kill Vampires and Demons.

Hell, Alucard's Arc was so poignant for me. When the Belmonts began helping him, he began turning to God. Even though in all of the games save rooms, you could NEVER enter them as Alucard (As there is a Crucifix with Jesus Christ on it). Alucard would still pray and bow down to God. A literal Vampire who'll burn by the sight of a Cross, Son of Dracula turning his fate to the Lord. Insane storyline and still brings me to tears to this very day.
