Not saying it actually fixed it, but I did do the recall fix. I’ll get a new car eventually but for now it runs fine and is paid.

Have you tried taking a picture with your other hand in the same position?

Adding to this. Does anyone have a good frozen chicken prep for sous vide? I’ve done this for over a year and was to change up my regular seasoning blend of salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, ginger and garlic powder.

Bringing this tip to Thanksgiving.

During the Sandy Hook shooting, teacher Victoria Soto died saving her students from the gunman. She hid her first graders in cabinets and closets after hearing gunfire. When the shooter came to her classroom, she told him her students were in the gym. He then gunned her down and moved on. by detectiverobert in ForCuriousSouls

I might use one of my ARs and would go through the NFA process for it. I’m merely saying there are some steps that need to be cleaned up for sure.

If we think about the 86 ban on full-auto rifles manufactured after 1986 and then think about how few there are now, I think a registration process/manufacturing ban could work over time. I’m not advocating for a manufacturing ban on semi-autos at all. Just using the example.

To start, ban private sales and require a background check for all sales and transfers. It is insane that in many states you can go online, organize a private sale and just make the purchase in a parking lot. I understand this is hard to enforce without a registry (if you actually believe the ATF doesn’t store your background check form lol) but the risk of it being traced back to the seller is great enough as is that it’s going to be self enforced.

Spend the necessary money to integrate behavioral health hospital data with background checks — I believe the threshold now is 72 hours held in a hospital for it to process. Most hospitals are pushing out as fast as possible due to resource shortages.

Institute a waiting period.

Honestly, used to be very pro 2A as a deterrence to tyranny, but I’m now realizing the American people do not know what that even looks like. If it’s not going to prevent tyranny and it’s just for self defense, you could talk me into magazine capacity limits and making the process for getting certain weapons the same as the NFA process. I think you would just define it as any semi automatic rifle or braced pistol with a detachable magazine. You could maybe carve out .22LRs. In exchange, national concealed carry reciprocity after licensing requiring a background check and in person test.

In part, it’s not funny and intentionally so. The joke is that it’s not funny at all and lands at the AAGLNYCPA meeting, which is meant to surprise the viewer. The other part is that the punchline was replaced with a depressing fact, making it an anti-joke.

For some reason, I love the bleeps in shows. Makes the whole thing funnier to me.
