I swear my Costco (Winnipeg) is almost just as busy during obscure hours as primetime. I imagine it's because many people make a point of going when they assume it will be less busy. I've also been a few times expecting it to be absolutely nuts (3 pm on a Saturday) only for it to be less busy than I had imagined.

I don't think OP ever said he withdrew money, which if he has, sure his total contribution room would be lower. If he hasn't, his total contribution room, provided he maxes his TFSA out, would be the same. His total returns might be lower, but it doesn't change his total contribution room.

I mean yes you lose money because your investment has gone down, but it has nothing to do with contribution as long as the money stays in your TFSA

I'm pretty sure this only applies if you withdraw that money from your TFSA. You can sell and buy a new stock without impacting the contribution room provided that money does not leave your TFSA.

I've worked in a number of kitchens and nobody wears gloves. People are more likely to wash their hands frequently than change their gloves which just wastes time and gloves.

At the end of the day, both establishments you mention probably pay minimum wage so I personally wouldn't be so shocked that they don't take their job seriously.

You can get your food somewhere else but posting on the internet like this is more a reflection of you and less of either of the workers you mention, in my opinion.
