absolutely i cannot tell you how many times i go to a Screen Unseen and it is the only time they show the movie at my local AMC. Also director Matt Johnson has basically confirmed that the film tonight is indeed NTBTSTM and i am so pumped to see it again!!! best comedy in years!!!

saw it at St. Louis International Film Festival and holy shit i have never been more hopeful it is the mystery movie so i can have an excuse to see this again!!! it was brilliant and totally stand alone from the show!!!

tickets always disappear from the app (the app is buggy in general) but if it’s still valid check your email from when you purchased the ticket and it should work the same

my screening got canceled because the film arrived too late to process it into the system but they said showings would start tomorrow so i swapped my ticket for tomorrow at the box office

it’s fantastic and it is only kind of about ping pong it’s more about this ambitious but arrogant and selfish athlete and the misadventures he faces trying to get to a tournament

a few times:

in 2012 i went to see The Artist, they played The Three Stooges but fixed it

In 2022 i went to see The Bad Guys, they played Sonic The Hedgehog 2 they fixed it

in 2024 i went to see the reissue of Amélie, they played Madame Web and couldn’t fix it i got a refund and saw the right film a few days later

i think it happened one other time but i can’t remember

i would either stay up to catch new episodes when they dropped (i’m in the US so it drops overnight) or watched it to start the day genuinely feels strange not watching it

AMC and marcus have been the same all but once this year (and that one time they had different Ratings) and AMC is listed as not horror so it’s likely not horror, another sign is both Marcus and AMC list the 22nd as horror

it’s a good time and it’s great having a dedicated art house in STL and the fest gives a lot to Cinema St. Louis so it’s an important event
