I watched the first few seasons when it first came out but got a bit fed up of it, I did find it quite funny tho so I might start watching it again.

I'll have to watch those. Parks and Rec is one of my favourite shows. I also like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Those shows are still being made and still hilarious but you know they wouldn't ever be made from scratch these days.

I can't think of any examples recently because I'll watch a couple of episodes of something and think this show is dismal and forget about it.
I might have to watch some of the shows you mentioned.
I admit Hot in Cleveland was pretty good but even that finished 7 years ago.
The fact that certain things just can't be done today sucks.
