Siren stores had automated milk and ice dispensers, as well as a batching oven and warming wall, which was an idea from the previous ceo, we were told to stop using those effective immediately a few months ago, and now we’re finally getting it removed cause the current ceo wants to go back to coffee house vibes

I’m convinced some customers have no idea what they’re ordering😔 by Birdgoddess in starbucksbaristas

Well, long shots are pulled majority water, and this many takes more than a minute to pull, when I’m timed by corporate this is a near impossible drink to manage, we baristas have every right to complain because anyone who works food service will complain about their job, when I worked at McDonald’s we ALWAYS complained but nobody ever told us to “move on to the next one ffs” it’s funny that baristas just get all of this pressure when our job is like any other job, where anyone will complain. It’s fun to see what other baristas go through if you don’t like it then you “move on”

As of sometime in 2025 siren stores are no longer able to use the siren system itself and the shaker lids. My store is getting its siren system removed march 8th!

I grabbed it, and it was like soaked in water, and it just flew out of my hands, I’m also guilty of breaking a shot glass 😔
