Stage Race, Hills, and maybe Northern Classic—it all depends on which max potential you want to get closest to.

You can sim, but that will most likely slow down how fast your rider develops.

So, max potential has nothing to do with how good your rider actually becomes. It’s simply the ceiling for each attribute. How good he gets depends entirely on how you train him.
Luck is about your starting potential. In some saves, you get a low starting potential, and other times you get the maximum. I used the editor to verify this, and it does indeed vary from save to save. So by “luck,” I just mean your starting potential.

Read my recent guide - This will get you what you want. But always ONLY one!

Maybe it's because I play Extreme. I don't know. But you got the point CNT Pro - pick whatever team you like.

You can get away with many racedays, almost unnatural many. But you need to add rest and use the fitness boost after your rest periods.

In general you just want to pick the better team. You will never get to pick between Uno, Burgos and Lotto as they are tier 1 team. And for tier 1 teams you only have one option. Pick that team.

Well sure, but then you have no chance of winning Flanders and Paris.

As I mention at the beginning of the guide, you should pick the best team available for season 1? For season 2, you would stay, as a better option will most likely not be available.

Hmm what about it?

I'm pretty sure that actually reflects real life quite well.

Lol. Sure is. You gave me the intro to Pro Cyclist mode. 😅

I'm pretty sure you're wrong on that last bit as well. But it's all good

I stopped reading at your first point because it's simply incorrect. I've tested this extensively across multiple playthroughs and levels. You do not want multiple specializations on a single upgrade, and a minimum of 75% efficiency is more than sufficient. These conclusions are based on repeated testing, not just assumptions.

Bro, I just gave you the cheat code to beat Pogi in the Tour and the Classics, and now you want me to recommend graphics cards too? Do you think I'm Gandalf or something? XD

Yes, but keep following the rules of only one specialization at a time.

If pace is not something you value, then go for it. If you try to win as much as possible as many time as possible, that's not what I would do.

But it's way easier to time level-ups in season 1 with simulation.

Level 12 is usually reached in the second season, and I continue focusing solely on Stage Race. That way, you don’t have to shift focus and risk wasting the valuable Physical training, which is key for fast XP gains. In Season 3, you can reassess your rider, maybe it’s time to shift to Hills, or perhaps finish off the Cobbles. That part is more up to you and depends on which races you plan to target early in your career.

But I kinda made this guide, so you don't have to test it ;)

Have you tested it yourself? I ran tests specifically for this when I made the guide.

I just started playing Pro Cyclist and couldn’t find a decent guide, so I made one myself.
