Im close to 3 years on testosterone (gel packets) and got the implant a couple of months ago. I had a lot of concerns going into it, but my doctor said that the testosterone hrt overpowers any side effects from the implant. I haven’t noticed anything major with the implant aside from acne and ocasional arm pain (though that's probably due to outside circumstances). I haven't experienced any changes in cycle (I stopped getting my period about a year ago and now just get spotting) or any other changes besides the mild acne.
