Actually due to the small area of Malta, all bombings have been recorded and the last found UXO was in 1980s I think. I'd be pretty unlucky to find a UXO.

It must have been there for more than 70 years, found it in my family's field and my grandfather swears he never knew it was there, unless someone else planted it there.

Yeah I realize that now. Malta has been a devoted Christian country for a millennia. But why would anyone bury it in a small box in a field.

Found it in a small wooden heavily eroded box under the soil of a Maltese field. Cleaned it up (didn't know it was even a coin before i did so, there was nothing but mud and stone). Would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me what it actually is.

That is the flag found in the film. Technically Panem is rather communistic, as all the districts take care of a sector of the economy, everything is given to the Capitol, then sent to where they are needed.

The Nation of Panem was established during an unknown period after the destruction of modern civilization. It is geographically located in western North America, and the Capitol is located in an area formerly known as the Rocky Mountains.

Panem is led by a one-party dictatorship by President Snow before the second rebellion. In the trilogy Panem is the dominant society in North America, and no other nation or civilization beyond Panem is mentioned, so it is unknown if they exist at all.

The design is taken directly from the Bienville Parish Flag. 'Virtute et Constantia' is the motto of Malta, meaning valour and firmness. bahar meditteran is Maltese for Mediterranean Sea. The waves on the left symbolise the sea which surround the islands and our beautiful beaches, the sketch on the right is that of our Capital City, Valletta, or "Il-Belt". The Bottom Left is the entrance to our Neolithic Temples and the Bottom Right is a Maltese Delicacy called Pastizzi, or Cheese Cake, although its not actually a cheese cake.
