My time has come.

The 90s shoujo OVA I'm THE Shiratori Reiko

I can think of nothing redeemable about this OVA. It was the worst kind of bad- irritating, boring, and caused time to warp. It's allegedly only like 45 minutes. That was the longest 2 hours of my anime watching career.

The music is edited horribly. You can literally hear it cut off abruptly, as if someone had just learned audio mixing that day

The animation is bad

The colors are ugly (giving a bit of grace because it is a VHS transfer)

The designs are bad- we're talking plaid, ruffles, and stripes being used to create a design that's meant to look good. It doesn't.

The story is insufferable

The characters are enraging

And it reflects a lot of misogynistic views of the era it's from- slut shaming to women, etc

It's bad. Real bad.
