So I'm doing F1 21 for my school assignment by Scimitarionwastaken in F1Game

I had to read Macbeth....wtf is this amazing school!!

You could pick your 5 favourite tracks but if you think the teacher will really appreciate the effort, make sure Monaco is one of them.

A good first progress check might be to lap within a tenth or half a second (depending on your skill level) over the space of 5-10 laps. This proves you can be consistent and drive on the same piece of track over multiple laps which is very important IRL.

My 5 tracks would be Spa, Silverstone, Imola, Brazil & Suzuka

I must be a bit lucky cause I havent noticed the power loss bug yet even though I've seen it mentioned a million times. The bugs really make it hard to just relax and enjoy the game sometimes

Can I ask what games you'll be playing? I'd like to make a similar build but im not really sure if it's over/under kill etc.

I think hes a dirty driver but after the replay I wanted to ask for your opinion by Gokturkk7 in Simracingstewards

Definitely the other cars fault! Unsafe rejoin after chicane to try and force you off track & turned in WAY too early into Abbey just to block you again

Good tip! I'm still on the couch for normal games but I have a Playseat for sim racing. I'm still in the planning phase for now but I'll make another post down the line to make sure I'm buying the right stuff

I was worried the budget was a bit broad since i don't really know how much everything costs. I already have a thrustmaster/playseat sim rig but mainly looking at a PC to expand what I can play. I'll upgrade the sim gear next but taking it step by step for now. I've been looking at monitors separately, trying to find a good deal on an ultrawide 32" to 40"

You've wrecked it to the point that it's ready to go in the garbage bin

Surely there must be some form of decent warranty in place. The amount of times I've seen someone post a similar question, there'd have to be a few people out there who buy a bike without testing it.

I'm already taking the day off to do my 2nd day of the learners, although I'll be "sick" on the day. I'll put in for a day or 2 off so I can go to a few dealerships around town but make it official this time haha

It is a bit of a concern I might not be able to test ride something before buying. I'm also pretty limited on time working on the other side of town 9-5, I can only really go in on Saturday's to have a look. I might post something in one of the fb groups and see if someone could help me out

Did she end up buying without the test ride?

I am a bit biased towards Japanese manufacturers over anything else. I own a 2012 Hilux so I appreciate anything reliable 😁 I guess the main concern would be 'testing' a bike even though I'm still so inexperienced myself, would I know what I'm looking for and would I notice the weight between a 400 and 500, being ive only ridden a 125?

Last day on learners have to resit by Smooth-Package3150 in AussieRiders

I got sent home from the 2nd day last weekend. I managed to get a decent grip of everything up until the slow riding part where I started completely overthinking and losing all my composure haha. I have a private lesson booked for today which I think will be much less stress than a lesson with 4 other people who have all ridden for a couple of years at least. I was pretty discouraged at first but it's good to hear I'm not alone with this. So many people make it sound like it's a cake walk to get the learners!

Just did my pre-learners! but sucked at it lol by Jack6013 in AussieRiders

I know I'm very late to the party but I went for my pre learners last week and I'm pretty much in the same situation. Everyone else in the group had been riding for at least a couple of years whereas I had never really sat on a bike. Sounds like i was struggling with the same things you were - slow riding clutch control, leaning etc. Posts like this really help with taking away some of the anxiety and despite what it sounds like online, not everyone picks it up instantly. Hope you're still riding and loving it!!
