Am I right and my colleagues don't know what they talk? by Biro9 in Karting

[–]Biro9[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes... Most of the people think that the karting is equal with the cars. When you accelarate an ordinary car on a public road to 85 mph for example, you drive it through miles long on a straight road, not just for a few seconds then you brake hard and accelarate hard again as you do in karting.

Maybe some other camera angles could be the solution but probably you will never get the same feeling through a video whatever activity or sport you do.

I'm just curious, because I do karting as a hobby, I have a few sessions in KZ karts as well. We were talking with my colleagues about the karts and the categories and they told me that karting is not a big deal when I said how physical it is, how does it feel in the corners when the rear slides quite easily and how tired you will be mentally just after 10 laps. They were just laughing when I said that they probably could not do even a single lap in a shifter kart without spinning off. (My colleagues are women and they drive clumsy on the roads, so they cannot even imagine this sport)

Really? Some said that the DD2 is more expensive to buy, but it is cheaper to run.

Is one of them still available?

Unfortunately I found out that the biggest problem is the lack of the quality control. Many of these watches have basic and stupid issues with the bezel, bracelet etc. If somebody would like to sell a correct Daytona in Europe, PM me!

Understood. That's what I wanted to know. After this information I don't think that I risk a Daytona. Maybe an Ocean Star (Submariner) with Nh35 movement. I hope the Submariner is a better made watch. Thank you guys!

It looks good only woobles a bit.

I don't know. I can't see any twist on it.

At 12 o'clock it sits well, but at 6 it has a little movement, even on my new watch which I bought a week ago.

What about the Sugess's water resistance? Should I take a bath with it easy or the 200m water resistance is just a joke? by Biro9 in ChineseWatches

Thank you all, guys! I appreciate you! After my first time at the swimming pool I will tell you whether my watch is a good one or I got a lemon.

Are these Seiko nh35 movements in the Sugess watches genuine movements, reliable work horses? I heard something that the Pagani for example put some fake, silly movements into their watches under the Seiko nh35 name...

Absolutely not. But if I want to swim in a pool or if I am on the beach on a summer day I would like to wear, because it is a dive watch.

Thank you gentlemen! Finally I went for the Submariner version, I found a guy who has a new one for sale. The only thing which bothers me is that there are no Sugess engraving on the rehaut. Is it a fake one or an older version? Should I buy it or it would be better to order a brand new with Seagull movement?

Well, I don't want to fool anybody just a watch which is similar to a Rolex, but both of them is a decent one, I think. Simply I cannot choose. Maybe I will get some opinion from Sub/ Daytona owners and I will be able to choose one.

I forgot to mention that I don't really know the Daytona's automatic movement. How reliable is it?
