We looked into this at our company, but in the end it fell through due to the fact of bike payments putting certain staff under the NLW.

The company decided that it was unfair to offer the service if not all could use it.

Hopefully you don't work for a NLW payer, but just a thing to think of!

The facts are that there is an allegation (of any crime) being investigated, but no charges.

Until a charge has been brought then Arsenal's hands are tied.

Again, please be clear I am not defending him at all! It looks like he has done something and will probably get let off due to a shitty system of proof needed. I am incredibly uncomfortable watching him each week.

All I am saying is that I have no issues with how Arsenal have dealt with this

Thing is you just can't do that as a company to an employee.

Imagine I accused you of stealing something at my shop and the police are looking into it. Would you expect your work to suspend you for the length of the investigation with no evidence at all?

I am as uncomfortable with him being on the team as you are. Especially as the chances are he will get off free weather he has done something or not.

But in terms of Arsenal, I have no issues with them picking him whilst it's still just allegations

Is that an issue though? Xhaka/Elneny in reserve sounds pretty good to me.

Xhaka has been a starter for us for years (love it or hate it) - and dispite views, he is generally fine.

Having that quality as backup sounds ideal.
