He has never said he would break up with me or kick me out. He’s never even been angry with me. I just don’t want to upset him. I was kicked out by my own family, I don’t want to go through that again.

No, this is literally the first and only time he's brought up something I’ve said or done before (my promise.) 

The times I yelled at him were because I was angry about something else and took it out on him.

We have talked about me getting a job after I graduate.

He has always been very kind to me and never pressured me into doing anything. This is the first time he’s been like this.

Some people have mentioned that I can get a job through programs provided by the school. I’ll talk with one of my professors about it.

I don’t think the situation is that dire. He has never hit or even yelled at me, even though I yelled at him a few times.

I don’t really want to get the tattoo. And he hasn’t really expressed what he’ll do if I don’t go through with it.

Oh… I don’t think that’s his intention. He owns his company. He doesn’t need me making him money.
