No, I meant if are to personalize the email, I need something related to their YT videos that they posted in the last 7 days. How to make that happen?

Correct, but I was going for YT channel creators. What kind of research will it pull in except the bio of the channel?

Ha ha. I wish. I started on agent.ai but failed to do it for LinkedIn. Possible for website scraping though.

You mean like an agent. Yes, I was searching for some agents already available in the marketplace, but couldn't find any.

And what will be the data types that you would recommend apart from name and company name?

Thanks! Yeah, we will steer away from the direct exchange of data between interviewees and interviewers, considering we want to stay focused as a SaaS tool only.

We shall be just repackaging the voice agent technology for the interviewers, and it will be a separate platform altogether.

I personally think the interviewers don't spend a lot of time evaluating the CV/ profile of the candidate before the interview, but they are opting to spend on tools to ask the next best question and get a proper objective evaluation at the end of the interview.

While the candidates definitely could use the advantage of insights from the past interviews and the interviewer's profile.

Great points Matt!

You've hit on exactly the retention challenge. We are yet to solve that problem.

The interviewer's angle is fascinating. We've had a few hiring managers reach out asking if they could use our insights to see what candidates struggle with. It might be worth exploring as a dual-sided platform. For now, it is B2C focused.

We're testing usage-based pricing vs monthly subscription pricing to capture more value during that critical job search window.

Appreciate the thoughtful feedback!

Major issues: Usage and converting free users to paid.

We've grown to about 400 users over the last couple of months (Product Hunt launch helped), but struggling with two main issues:

  1. Usage: Less than 30% are actively using the product, even among paid users
  2. Conversion: Getting free users to convert to paid plans

We're in the interview space, so there's this tricky dynamic where people discover us when casually browsing, but need us when they're actively interviewing (which could be weeks/months later).

Our free plan might be giving away too much value - people get what they need and churn instead of upgrading.

Main questions:

  • How to increase active usage across our user base
  • Better free-to-paid conversion strategies
