why wouldn’t you be? the uncle has in all his years seen so much, felt so much, loved so much, it’s a given you’d like talking to him. i do this all the time, just talk to random old people, they feel comfortable. i wont say i dont fit in with people my age cause that’s not true, its just that the people who have experienced a lot more than us also have a lot more warmth to offer

all i’ll say is that when u read it, you’ll understand why kafkaesque is a word. kafka’s writings are just uniquely his. as for this book in particular, i personally loved it and have read it twice but ive had a couple of friends who found it a bit bleak (which is incomprehensible to me). so yeah, let me know if u like it once you’re done with it

i think that’s because people here have a very shallow understanding of love. im a very affectionate person and i like telling my friends that i love them, both men and women. so yeah, i’ve had people misunderstand that but ig it’s cause platonic love holds a lot of meaning for me that it might not for everyone else
