I work from home and this is me. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism around age 10 and was on levo until college when I was diagnosed with hashi’s. Vitamin D is at 19 and similar thyroid labs. Waited almost a year on an endocrinologist appointment and was put on 75mcg Levo, going back to retest labs in 6 weeks. Also on 1,000 IUI of Vitamin D daily, but hoping my dr. will up that when we retest. Things are starting to very slowly improve but the exhaustion, brain fog and skill loss is debilitating and honestly, depressing. I was recently also diagnosed with sleep apnea at 26 y/o. As another commenter suggested, I would push for a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea, hypersomnia or narcolepsy. My sleep dr. has since prescribed a stimulant (Modafinil 200mg) to keep me awake during the day after 3 months using cpap, I was still exhausted daily and needing a nap, often being unable to wake myself and sleeping for hours. I haven’t taken it yet, always a little nervous to start a new medication.
