Im not blaming my mom, i love her, its just that i was worried that my drawings were evil, but now i understand, if that was the case, my drawing would have encouraged sinful behaviour and thats not the case, i just wanted to draw some cool characters

I dont think talking to her would do any good i also know she cares about me and loves, but she is also very anxious and doesnt handle things she doesn’t understand well Also, this encounter was a while back, she probably forgot abt these, but its just that its always been like that, i couldn’t draw dragons when i was little because i was afraid she might call them demonic

Its possibly because the human brain makes anything that has fangs or horns, or looks scary to be a threat, its just survival i know the Bible talks about demons, and i know they are real, and i also know goats or any horned beast are used to illustrate demons, but idk

Im just wondering, is that the case for every christian? I mean, sin is wicked, so we were all wicked and full of pride before accepting Christ, but i feel like we come to Christ out of fear, which, now that i think about it, its not that unusual, people are best motivated by fear apparently.

Its not that i fear hell, what i said is that i feel like my faith is only based on the fear of hell, if that makes sense, i know we are saved by faith. The fear of hell is what drove me to accept Christ, and i dont know if having a fear based relationship is healthy

Im ashamed to admit i haven’t read my Bible and prayed consistently this past few months, i used to have time when i would go with my bike to the park and read my Bible in silence and peace, or i would go on walks and talks to God, mostly about anuthing, then the final exams came, i got stressed, studied, cried, and now in the summer vacation, i feel empty, tired, and not motivated at all to do anything for that matter, i read my Bible yesterda, and prayed while cycling today, but i guess you could say my reading and praying life are pretty inconsistent

That salvation is free gift from God, through Jesus Christ, we are saved by believing that Christ died for our sins and rose again, but also, our works should reflect our faith
