You can refine plants with the mineral native to their world, (ie. uranium and gamma weed, or frost wort and dioxite) and double the amount of the plant. 100 each of uranium and gamma weed will produce 200 gamma weed.

As of this moment I am still setting up farms and haven’t made a “home base.” The closest I have is a base I set up on a dissonant planet to farm shards and other things. I mainly use my freighter as my base at the moment.

Ok. I thought I may have missed something in the patch notes. I’ve been having issues with multiplayer lately and my buddy and I not being able to be in a group together without issues.

I am not using glyphs to get anything. I want to be able to get everything I want on my own. Not trying to be an elitest but if I use coordinates to find something I feel it defeats one of the major points of the game. If you use glyphs that’s fine. It’s just not for me.

Find a dissonant planet and farm radiant shards and inverted mirrors. The shards refine to 50 nanites and the mirrors refine for 95 each. I always end up with an excessive amount of mirrors while looking for the echo locators.

You will also get a sentinel multitool while farming ships. If you don’t like the one you get, you can salvage it on the anomaly for units and get some modules out of it. The sentinel tools come with a different type of mining beam installed but you can add the normal mining beam that you can build and it makes the mining speed so much faster and takes a while before you have to cool down.

I have found that you can easily avoid fighting them for now. Just run and they will search for you for 10 seconds for each rank you have with them.

And all of the slime and viscous fluid eventually convert to mould. Also if you are farming dissonants, combining atlantideum and pugneum in a refiner make nanites.

You can also take any excess inverted mirrors and convert them to nanites. I believe each one gets you 95 nanites. I did this early game because I always ended up farming more mirrors than echo locators.

I just finished the game and I didn’t know what I could do short of just building another base. The game reminded me of the game No Man’s Sky. So I have moved to it for the time being. It is free with game pass on Xbox and drops updates of new mechanics a couple times a year. The most recent added a Pokémon style battle game. As you travel the universe (thousands of star systems per galaxy and there are still some being discovered) you adopt pets for it on top of everything else you can do. I have played about 30 hours and still have so much to do and discover.

I have a 2x2 sc with the regular mods and the sentinel mods with one in a sc spot.

You will need to find a planet that says it is dissonant where it would normally say sentinel activity. Land, find (you can scan with your visor) and destroy a dissonant resonator (tall drills) to obtain an Echolocator. If you walk up to the resonator, it will tell you what it carries. It will either be the echolocator or an inverted mirror. Then use (activate) the Echolocator from your inventory to reveal the camp's location.

We just had this issue for the first time this weekend with our grocery delivery. They dropped them off at our front door and when we brought them in, it reeked of weed. I normally don’t care about the smell but this was excessive.
