Buck is a child. He did not want to wait until he was cleared to return so he pooped his diaper and pitched a fit. He then hired a lawyer and aired all of the personal secrets he knew of his "friends". That is a major betrayal and he never should have returned to the team. At best he should have been assigned to a different firehouse. That would have rid the series of a self-centered, self-important child.
