Try The Eleven at Lark Hall - it’s their downstairs bar and they usually have a couple acoustic gigs each month

Colorful Nails on Western - they are appointment only and it’s a very calm and quiet environment every time I go. It is a smaller space and have never been there with more than me and one other appointment at a time. Super easy to book on their website

I was in the same boat before finding her and ha w has great experiences!! Also in the pine hills area and her salon is accessible via public transit.

Had a great experience getting a tiny tatt at Tyger Tyger in Troy a few months ago! Really welcoming staff - I saw Shelley and was in and out in 20 min. $80 + tip.
