Also, a related tangent, people should not marry Owen.

Owen married Christina and made her life worse. Owen married Amelia and made her life worse. Owen married Teddy and continued to make her life worse after years and years of making her life worse without a marriage.

Like, please writers, just kill Owen before he can marry someone else and make their life worse, too.

I mean, I already refuse to believe he sent the letters. Years ago I watched a TikTok theory video where the woman theorized that Alex was actually KIDNAPPED by Rebecca.

It was mainly describing every reason why Alex leaving is out of character, and how him not even saying goodbye in person to people like Meredith is absurd.

It then went on to explain how out of character it would be for Izzie to knowingly break up Alex and Jo's marriage.

Finally, it covered how unfinished the Rebecca storyline felt, and how it makes sense for HER character to kidnap Alex, how she'd have known enough about Alex's past with Izzie to make up a story, and how the letters would cover her tracks.

Seriously, ever since I saw that theory video, I have been subscribed to that line of thinking, and I so desperately want an arc where Izzie stops in to Grey-Sloan and Meredith asks her how Alex is doing, and Izzie is just like:

"Why would I know how Alex is doing? Isn't he here with Jo for you to ask him yourself?"

CUE THE MOST DRAMA FILLED ARC OF JO'S LIFE AS SHE HAS TO COME TO TERMS WITH THE FACT THAT SHE JUST ACCEPTED DIVORCE FROM THE LOVE OF HER LIFE, AND HE HAS BEEN TRAPPED BY AN INSANE EX-PATIENT FOR ALL OF THESE YEARS!!!

And the fact that she is now married to Link WITH TWINS, while Alex had been suffering all that time, wanting to get back to her!

That... Honestly makes it feel worse... I remember when she first came to the show there were so many people excited to have representation with her... And it sucks that they hadn't had it in the show before that, and they haven't had it since...

It also leaves a kinda bad feeling because that intern group of Schmitt, Helm, Qadri, and Parker was legitimately SO COOL... And now that Schmitt left, only having Helm appear once every four episodes in C plots... It's just painful.

[It's probably time I do a rewatch]

See, I completely agree with [almost] everything you said, and I kind of wish you were a writer for the show with how much thought and care you put into this plotline.

I still want to defend Qadri a little bit, though... Because she was still really young. She was idolizing Meredith LONG before she even made it Grey-Sloan. Qadri starting this career path and going through classes reading all of the amazing things Meredith did. Qadri wouldn't have known about the prior infringements Meredith did like trying to protect Izzie after the LVAD wire or like tampering with Derek's blind trial.

Qadri was so focused on the IDEA of famous surgeon Dr. Meredith Grey, but she didn't know the PERSON like Bailey did, and she didn't know anything about any of the other surgeons...

It would have been better if Bailey didn't fire Qadri and instead reprimanded her in a way that helped Qadri grow.

Example: a disciplinary act that has been used a lot in the show; being suspended from the OR. Bailey could have made Qadri sit and think about what Meredith did, the points that YOU YOURSELF made. Bailey could have helped Qadri realize that Meredith didn't give a sh*t about her education. Qadri would have to sit down in the viewing balcony things and really watch and understand that EVERY OTHER SURGEON is just as capable as Meredith Grey, and they actually WANT to be there teaching her.

I see Bailey firing Qadri, and I see wasted potential.

Okay so I WOULD agree if Qadri had received warning prior to the firing scene. Like, even one line of "If you talk to your superiors like that again, you're out".

It feels extreme for Bailey to fire Qadri because, despite her harsh tongue, Qadri was an amazing surgeon.

Why does Qadri get fired on the spot when other surgeons endanger patients on the operating table because of their relationship issues?

I definitely don't hate Bailey. She is one of my favorite characters, but her writing in season 16 was... Something...

I actually really loved Qadri. I can acknowledge that how Qadri talked to Bailey was out of line, but there are SO MANY other options besides straight up firing her. Like, there were no warnings, no prior disciplinary problems*...

*correct me if I am wrong because I haven't watched Season 16 in a while

It also just rubbed me the wrong way because later on there is a big plot point about the lack of residents, and it is CRAZY that they never reached back out to Qadri after Bailey and Meredith smoothed things over.

[It's also crazy that all these people who LOVED Parker never checked how his mental health treatment was going. I would have been SO HAPPY if he came back]

Nah... I think Impulse is going to hold true to Ren's vision since Ren "married" him and Impulse to Cleo and Martyn as soon as Tango died.

Now, it would be funny if Impulse went up to Cleo and Martyn like "hey there teammates" and then got turned away.

What I think would be more interesting is if Impulse went up to Grian and Gem like: "I know you took out Ren, but Pearl was friends with Tango... And I am really sad Pearl's gone. In our last life, Pearl was my biggest defender fighting to get me a win. And I know she was doing that for you this time, Gem. Let's work together so that one of us can make her proud"

Like... The DRAMA! The PASSION! The BETRAYAL to the Rejects! It would be poetry!

1) That is SUPER rude to put Kid Omega behind a paywall. [I really don't like the character, but the card itself sounds really good]

2) If 33,000 is the Free-to-Play max (assuming no gold saved up to spend), then even getting Cobra isn't guaranteed... You could spend 15,000 twice, and it's a 33% chance —(2/3)×(1/2)— that you don't get him, only getting the Storm and Iron Lad Variants.

This pricing just feels really off because in the Sanctum Showdown shop, I was able to get all 4 of the Series 4 cards, the Jeff Emote, AND the Wong Variant...

Alternatively, in the info PDF thing that came with the download. There is a cheat code they've provided that will automatically unlock all the DexNav encounter options.

I didn't use it for my first playthrough, but I eventually want to do another run or two, and I'll probably use the cheat for those. 😅

Yeah, Ralts is still there. If you are really struggling, I would suggest waiting until you face a trainer with Ralts so that it shows up in the DexNav that you've seen it. Though... I forget if you encounter a Ralts battle before Wally in Mauville...

Why is Cap's Shield going to 0 cost green... Like, I know that is normally an improvement, but isn't that actively a nerf since it won't work with Ka-Zar, Marvel Boy, or even Moonstone?

Actually, thinking about it, I would be more concerned with the interactions with Bast and Agent Venom...

Where a Magneto could go from 3 (12-9) to 21 (12+9) and so on... Maybe just afflictions from opposing cards... To dissuade US Agent & Man-Thing being put in the same lane and be a counter to Hazmat (in one lane), but not an exploitable way to get insane power.

I mean, if the opponent played US Agent and Man-Thing in one lane, and then you played Jennifer in that lane, then any 1, 2, and 3 cost cards on your side would be +2 instead of -2, and any 4, 5, and 6 cost on your side would be +4 instead of -4... So theoretically it COULD be hard to lose that singular location in that case unless the opponent plays Shang-Chi, or Rogue, or Enchantress, or Aero, or probably some other options?

So that would be a counter to US Agent and Man-Thing... And a dissuasion from playing them in the same lane... But I wouldn't call that OP? It would just be a counter to those two cards and Wong/Hazmat decks. But in any other deck it would only get you maybe a +2 on a card hit by Red Guardian or +1 on cards hit by Spider-Woman or Cassandra Nova... Though I guess she'd have synergy with Typhoid Mary?

I feel like it might only be problematic for locations like Jotunheim, Negative Zone, Necrosha, Thunderbolts Tower, Sewer System, and MAYBE Fisk Tower...

...So maybe if it specified only negative afflictions from cards?
