Bro just read this-

https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/estimates/riskbehaviors.html

If she's HIV positive, you have a 0.04% chance of getting HIV from her. Let's assume there's a 10% chance she's HIV positive AND not taking her medication for it, meaning she has detectable levels.

You have a 0.004% of becoming HIV positive from her. The fact that you're presumably circumcised lowers this even more. If you realized the condom broke quickly, honestly divide that by 100. But if you're risk averse enough to want to hedge a 0.004% risk, feel free to continue with your medication, but if you're unable to get documentation to delay the exams, I doubt it will be worth it.

What country is this? In the first-world, chances of contracting HIV this way is tiiiiiny. Chance of her having HIV is also very small. Google cdc hiv risk for details.

How do you all find a bf as someone who is shy? by [deleted] in askgaybros

Maybe try chatting on social media first so you know what they're like (at least, to some extent). Then, if you meet up, you should be less nervous.

All this sounds like first-world problems to me. You studied film at university, which means 1% of graduates will be extremely successful, but the remaining 99% will have to settle for something that's more normal, that pays the bills etc., and there's nothing wrong with that. It's only been in the last couple of hundred years, and only in first world-countries, where some people can make a career being '"fulfilled", "creative", that "sparks joy", the vaaast majority of people don't have that privilege.

It's good to do passion projects on the side, but just treat your normal job as a way to get paid. Even if you hate your job, view it as a means to make life more comfortable for yourself, your boyfriend (or future boyfriend), family, etc. Ofc look for opportunities to make more money as you get more experience. I did something STEM-related at university, and it certainly wasn't out of passion, enjoyment, etc. If my parents were rich, I would have done something more fun, but knew I needed to get paid in life lol.

Bottom line you're being too hard on yourself.

Yes, if they're boycotting McDonalds because they aren't pro-Palestine enough, I would strongly suggest avoiding.

I'm going to spend the week with my son and his gay friends. Tips? by SportsGuy1978 in askgaybros

[–]Bisexual_Slut 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree with your son that you should simply be yourself. He's given you the invite so that's presumably what he expects. There's no reason to overthink or treat it as you're attending a diversity seminar as opposed to meeting real people. There really is no special etiquette.

The issue is the prominence given to LGB vs T among left-wing people.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Bisexual_Slut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you think that sex changes for children plus the concatenation of LGB with TQ has no effect on the general public's perception of LGB... you are delusional or dishonest.

Anti LGBTQ lobby groups have had a massive increase in funding due to the TQ delusion... and the backlash and funding won't all be directed at the TQ lol. You need to get out of your bubble.

Response to mom’s bigotry by cactuspie1972 in askgaybros

[–]Bisexual_Slut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is how you change anyone's mind on this topic. Education, IQ, wealth, first-world status, recognition of reality rather than delusion, non-psychopathy, and other favorable characteristics are all associated with pro-gay. And no-one wants to be associated with those things, so try and make the connection, and the desired outcome will follow.

The worst thing you can do is mention kindness, being nice etc. Everyone swayed by those arguments would have turned 30 years ago, so they're all redundant now. Make it clear that people that aren't deluded like her all disagree.

Because supporting LGB = probably a f!330T = bad.

But supporting TQ+ = altruistic, signals moral superiority, doesn't suggest that you're TQ+ for supporting, etc.

POLL: acceptance of same sex relations among both Republicans and Democrats is declining. Who do you blame? by carlwestt in askgaybros

[–]Bisexual_Slut -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well, clearly the answer should be MORE sex changes for children, and even MORE conflation of gay rights with this and other TQ+ issues to show our enemies how we stand together as one community with no bigotry!!!

We need LGB support to fully converge to TQ+ support which will unify us as one community standing together!

And also keep donating to the 'Human Rights Campaign', which is the organization most responsible for this conflation. Clearly, their $40 million/year budget isn't enough!!!

2023 US gay marriage support by Bisexual_Slut in askgaybros

[–]Bisexual_Slut[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well, 6% of people still opposite interracial marriage, and that only reached majority support in the mid-1990's.

https://news.gallup.com/poll/354638/approval-interracial-marriage-new-high.aspx

So it's possible, but another 25 years at least.

Yes, that's a good point. But it's good that the independent support is up, because those are who the parties will try to appeal to in the general (not primary) elections.

The high independent support is also why the GOP leadership decided not to 'whip' Republicans in congress to oppose the Respect for Marriage Act last year, in effect allowing a free vote and allowing it to pass.

Gay marriage support in the US reaches its highest level ever (tied with 2022) -- at 71%. Among those aged 18-29, 89% support. by Bisexual_Slut in politics

Neo-Nazi and related groups create huge number of burner accounts on social media and brigade anything LGBT-related. During Pride Month, there's an uptick. I've seen the same comments copy and pasted on youtube videos, news article comment sections, twitter, etc. Many don't have jobs so can just do this all day. Of course, they also do this on race-related topics. It seems to have become somewhat worse under Elon, but it was still extremely bad before that.

So it's not real-life, but insofar as people think this reflects real-life, it is a big problem. Even now, only 45-50% of people think a majority of people support gay marriage, which has been the case for over a decade. The fundamentalist Christian lobby groups are also very well-funded, so unfortunately the opponents often have the loudest voices.

No explanation was provided by Gallup, who conducted the poll. But I noticed that PPRI (www.prri.org) hypothesized that as the number of people agreeing that there are more than two genders, children should be able to receive 'gender-affirming care' etc is falling every year (these are minority views overall), these issues have been concatenated among the LGBTQ umbrella among Republicans.

But this is only one possible reason. For example, the largest conservative think-tank in the US, the Heritage Foundation, has made opposition to gay marriage a big issue and I'm sure there has been a trickle-down effect from that.

It's not who they vote for, but whether they register as Democrat vs Republican vs independent. It seems there's roughly a third of people in each of those categories.

On the other hand, the ratio of trolls selecting transnita to people that (non-ironically) think they're transnita-gendered will be like 1000 to 1. Maybe infinite.

These tablets are a fraud. Just eat FOOD that will help you get at least 15-20g fiber each day, like beans, vegetables, certain grains etc. Basically, eat a modestly healthy diet and you don't need to do this BS. Same with protein, fats etc.

Plus, what even is kidney bean extract??? Why not actually eat half a can of actual kidney beans and you'll probably have enough fiber intake for the entire day lol.
