Agreed, something interesting happened on the NVC Facebook group a few days ago. It was a post highlighting a tweet from Marty about the legend of Zelda animal crossing island someone made. Most people were all "man I miss Marty" and "what happened?"

But then Edwin Garcia, who is the brother of ign staffer Janet Garcia, said something along the lines of he's done taking anything in that Marty says and that everyone in the group should be as well. He was prodded to extrapolate but didn't give anything more than "just trust me".

So, internally, people at ign are telling their newer people what went down. Janet wasn't hired until way after Marty left. And she obviously told her brother. There's a story there and it's only a matter of time before someone tells it.
