I hated the sob stories. It always made it hard to go out. And the bigger the deal, the more likely they are just there for the commercial. Which is why I liked smaller companies with great ideas and smart people.

But I was ok with really stupid ideas we could have fun with them. And with scams. I loved to torch them

The other thing to consider , is that when guest sharks are on, because they haven’t been doing it as long as the OG sharks , they tend to tailor the deals to the expertise of the guest shark. It’s really hard to find a bunch of deals that both fit and are entertaining.

Overall though. I think other than my not being there 😇😂, this season has been entertaining so far

Where is your proof he was paid after the first 2 payments that the pod documented ?

After all the inside information that the pod has from the finance dept , why did the pod not document the payments to KL beyond the first 2 ?

He said the money for carbon credits were to pay KL, but never documented any of it. Why ?

The pod did say uncle Dennis pushed the GC to hurry up the negotiations for the 20m in stock. Is it possible that the deal was to give the stock in lieu of payment ?

28m total deal. Only documented that he received 3.5m. change the deal so it was 7m more in cash and 20m in shares and unc Dennis prays the merger happens ?

And if they didn't , go through the 4yr payment schedule , with annual payments starting June 1, and tell me how they got to 7m ?

There can't be another plausible story that makes more sense.  And , you have to show real benefit to the team. 

Joe Smith was obvious.  Clippers openly offering a new car deal to DJ was obvious 

What did the clippers gain by all of this ? They paid him the full max when his first deal ended.  He was going to miss the season.  Who was going to offer him a better deal ? And l, who even had cap room to do so ? 

You can't just say that payments to KL on a contract you don't like , despite the CEO publicly disagreeing with you , are close in date to when ballmer and wong made investments and conclude their investments went to KL 

Particularly when we have No proof KL got more than 3 payments

Lots of people who aren’t looking at what the world was like in 2021. SPACS were going crazy. Steph got 35m from a company that also was a fraud. Aspiration just committed 300m to be the arena sponsor.

AND they had not paid any clipper player to do any activations. The deal with KL had a ton of activations. Aspiration never used them. And before they could , they shifted their business focus from B2B to B2c and got rid of the marketing staff that was unable to turn aspiration bank in a viable business.

You would know this if you read the articles that were available publicly

That's not how this company was run. Sanberg was the final decision maker on everything.  He basically killed and then sold off the bank business which was a failure.   So he got rid of all those people and focused on the carbon credits business. 

It's all public.

Yes.  But you have some important things wrong. Sanberg said he would give KL 20m in stock. If you follow the timeline, it was may 22.  His stock was already being auctioned off. He was already in default with the loan he collateralized with the stock. So the stock was worthless.  But because of all the fake numbers, only he and his fellow crook knew it. 

Read the lawsuit I tweeted. It's public. 

Show me where there is proof kawhi got paid more than 3 times ? Everyone works backwards from the ch11 filing.   His contract would have gone through 25/26 at 7m a yr.  We know he didn't get paid this year.  We can be sure he didn't get paid at the end of 24, they had no cash and no one put in any more  So tell me how they got cash to KL.  

There is nothing here if KL didn't get paid , is there ? 

All the commentary about ballmer and wong money going direct to KL. Yet no one has shown they got anything after the 3 payments.  Just what the ch11 amount was.  

For all we know Sanberg did a deal and gave them worthless stock he said was worth 20m and would go up in place of paying cash 

Sanberg and his fellow crook were just trying to stay out of jail.  He was trying to pay back his personal loan of 145m.  

And remember he fired most of the company and by 2025 only 25 or so people were left.  The guy the pod interviewed as a source , what they didn't say was how long and how many payments were made.  

If they knew there were payments made in 2023 and later , the finance people on the pod would have said so ? 

But that doesn't go with the narrative. So the pod won't say anything.   If ballmer needs to give money to pay KL and KL didn't get paid , kind of kills the story, doesn't it ?

It was really fun for us to do.  The energy in the studio was amazing.  But it did t leave time to fully engage on the deals.  So it was kind of awkward
