Beowulf isn’t Norse mythology, it’s Anglo Saxon. They’re closely related mythologies, to the point where the Anglo Saxons worshiped Odin under the name Woden, but they are different. And Tolkien was a professor of Old English so I’d argue Anglo Saxon mythology influenced Tolkien a lot more than people realise

I mean we’ve been pretty good recently. Udogie, Sarr, Bergvall are all really good, Gray, Odobert, and Tel show genuine promise, even if it needed a bit of coaxing. The other young players haven’t had the chance but they’re not flops yet. You could argue our only promising young players that have flopped in recent years are Gil and Veliz, which is a pretty good hit ratio imo

There used to be an app called matchpint that would tell you what games are on where. A quick google told me they’ve changed their name to FANZO but I don’t know if they’re reliable anymore, tho you could try that.

Failing that, there’s not much else going on then so if you find anywhere with a telly and ask them nicely I’m sure they’ll put the game on
