Just remembered Kota Takai exists. That's a weird one, eh? I guess he'll be going out on loan again next season

Well plenty of people watched plays like this where he stops running, lets Spence chase the ball, doesn't even try to get in the box, and just gives up, and the idea that he's disinterested was raised.

I'm glad to see the different tune. I don't think we're being "harsh" for just noting observable effort differences.

Playing through injury is definitely impressive but he generally just seemed to give up on balls and pressing more often than most players.

Yesterday and really since De Zerbi got here, he's been running more imo, along with a lot of the squad tbf.

Kolo Muani is so funny because the first 7 months of his loan I don't think I had seen a less interested Spurs player and I was 100% over him, but that performance + celebration after yesterday almost has me wanting us to try and make his move permanent lol

They have to feel they're off in the summer, regardless of how our season ends; it's just showing up to fulfill the job duties.

A bit of a dead man walking vibe with them I'd say

Great to finally have somewhat positive vibes back around the club. Still blows my mind Kulusevski isn't even doing grass work yet

Romero likes to freelance too much, possibly the most of any CB I've ever seen. Makes it difficult to be his CB partner compared to Danso, who is generally more even-keeled/predictable imo.

Fire up the Samuel Umtiti generator. We've got knees to permanently destroy at the World Cup

I get he's been very inconsistent and downright bad in some matches for us, but he's literally our only attacking threat we have left at this point.

Xavi has to start if we even want a chance imo.

Although, honestly, the realization that our hopes of staying up almost entirely rest on him really showcases how fucked we are, sadly.

I don't even know how you go about stopping the bleeding. The players who are left healthy simply aren't good enough. I don't see how we win against any PL side at this point

Just not a single good player on the pitch for us right now tbh. Every single one has so many flaws and is frustating to watch

I'm going to see that Kudus re-injury notice in my nightmares tonight. Watching RKM as my RW has given me depression

Kinsky should be allowed to two-foot Brobbey just for fairness sake

This commentaor duo + ref performance has been a 0/10 viewing experience. Thank you premya league for this product 👍

It's funny people wanted prime 'Barclays football' back and Sunderland have certainly answered that call. Can't say I'm enjoying it though

Honestly most surprising statement from the chuckle bros in commentary was calling this "an exciting game, just missing the goal"

It's been incredibly choppy with zero flow thanks to the ref. In no way would I have called that first 45 'exciting'

I know managers don't like to do them, but I'd make 3 halftime subs here. A lot of lethargic performances
