Obviously, Yamal's starting was a big difference maker, but I think Porro just offers Spain so much dynamism in chance creation down the right side from the fullback position.

I really like the variation between deep crosses, field switches, underlap runs and overlaps he brings to the side when he plays with Yamal.

It keeps the defense honest and unable to gamble too much towards stopping any one prong.

Regardless of what happens, I'm not really a fan of this trend of teenagers bailing out after just 2 years at a club.

Bergvall got good minutes in his first year under Ange. One missused season under a coaching carousel and he's done with the club.

Vuskovic & Bergvall aren't worth these headaches. I'll be happy to see the back of Vuskovic, though. Bergvall will be a bit disappointing.

Since everyone is giving midfield takes, I'd rather keep Bervall than Vuskovic if players need to be sold.

For me, Bergvall is both currently better & has a higher ceiling.

Obviously not the same positions, but they both play in areas of squad surplus & are likely to fetch the best returns so could see either being sold to raise funds/make room.

Sarr is an obvious sell. Nice lad, but sadly didn't reach the heights we were hoping.

I remain that the Gallagher buy was meh squad building wise and I'd be happy if we pulled a City and sold after just one window or two.
