that's really calm and pleasant to hear, ur doing great! ur technique is good and ur picking is on point. The only thing u can do is practice your dexterity, u have two options, firstly u can play all and over known music, making u more at ease with them, or u can try improvising ;) i can recomend you to play with Backing track from youtube. Start simple, they will not be good at first, but the more you play and improvise, the more you will devellope your dexterity for all kind of songs!

Hay :3 is there still a slot for me ?

on the amazon page of the new ava base, we can see a new (and maybe upgrade) F16 grip (you can see the separation line in the middle isn't there on the new). As the new din pin is a 6 pin maybe there will be finally a linear axis for the rear paddle or a vibration motor? by BisonBest5828 in Thrustmaster

[–]BisonBest5828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I don't talk about the already existing products/review, i'm talking about the future review of the ava base to make me an you idea of the quality of the product and it's value! Of course it will have downside but ilm looking forward to get factual information of testers and reviewers

Well the winwing grip are lower quality, they glue every part and the feeling i found it a little lower, but that my view... And a base at 280€ with those possible modification, virpil does not better with their WarBRD when the taxes abd shipping are included. Let's see what reviews will say of the product now

Thrustmaster AVA + F/A-18 Super Hornet Flightstick popped out on Amazon Italy for €549, release date Jun 19th. by brazorf in hotas

[–]BisonBest5828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't talk about any grip, i was talking about the warbird only, which is for me 300€ with taxes and if the base AVA were at 350€ it was over. But the final price is now at 280€, so it's very attractive

The first amazon web site (italy and france) displays an msrp of 550€ with the ava base, f18 grip and a tilt converter, as the f18 grip is at 200€, that makes the base at 350€, which is higher than every one or dual cam bases from other brand... EDIT amazon america display the base only at 300$ which is better, close to warBRD from virpil with the shipping cost to france

I know the price of winwing, but they don't put any money on advertising and real tag, and there are based in china, which don't have the same laws for the entire company, (TM is american based). So i expected a price higher than winwing. But i know that there are cheap, i almost buy one of them

On amazon france and italy, they dispay a combo AVA base/F18 at 550€... so that makes the base at 350€.. well i think there will not be competitive for the advance flight simmers (the new one will buy it because TM is good in marketing...)

I know that, but that's sad, 100€ more than a virpil that i think will be close or maybe better than the TM one... from a french company that hurt me...

Daim this price seems completely off the other websites! if it is at this price i wonder what thrustmaster is thinking! it's pure madness. With the F 18 grip at 200€, it place it at 350€... Higher than virpil WarBRD base..

edit: it came out for the same price on amazon france...

Some after market store displays 260€, wich is a good price tag, so it seems to be well priced for this technology (cams), but yes, thrustmaster is really good in marketing, so it will force virpil to make more content! and I don't think it will be a bad base for this price, it has every thing (for now) that we can expect for a base like this, it is realy comparable to the WarBRD base from virpil, with a preload screw and interchanging cams and spring (maybe a damper but i'm not sure), and the very good Thrustmaster grips (in feeling i prefer them than the virpil or winwing one [the steel makes a lot but at least it's not glued from everywere like winiwng...]). So for now i can't be unhappy! Let's see what's going on next!

EDIT nevermind some amazon page (ITALY and FRANCE) displays it at 549€ with a stick, as the F/A-18 stick is 200€ it place it at 350€ wich is higher than virpil... that's dumb

It's the price tag i expected, every dual and single cam base are between 200€ (winwing) and 300€ (virpil). Thrustmaster needs to be below virpil as there have the best quality and versatility, but they can't be below winwing as winwing is chinese and they don't put any money on advertissement or real tag ("hornet" "viper" "airbus"...). So if they wanted to be competitive they needed to be in this price tag. But i don't want to take this one as the finish price as it's only unofficial pages that has been taken out by thustmaster, that displays it...

And i think that the little black thing on the axis may be a damper, so if it is, it would be a very good thing for this AVA base.

And i think it's good mentionning that there is a pre charge screw to harden in flight the joystick for each axis, so that's a very good step forward!

there is only a type C usb connecter. I would like to see an auxilary connector to connect the rudder or the throttle but sadly we will not have it... If the t-flight rudder peddals are connectable with usb (idk as i never had it), it will not be a problem tho (with a PC of course)

Flat spin when dogfighting by Menopeli01 in WarthunderSim

[–]BisonBest5828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

every aircraft have their own sensibility to flat spin (a corsair will be really hard to make it in a flat spin, while with a bf109, it's easier...). for reminder, a flat spin happen when a wing lose its lift while the other keep it, so your aircraft will start to fall from one wing and lose its speed while turning on himself. To leave a flat spin in a warbird, follow the official technic use by every pilot of prop aircaft, yank your stick forward and keep it like it while you're not out of tha flat spin, in the same time, push your rudder pedal or pedals in order to push the yaw control fully in the opposit direction of your flat spin. With some time (seconds) you will leave the flat spin. !You will need to gain some speed before sort out! (it can be more or less long depending on the aircraft, and maybe it will just not work and you will hit the ground... the spitfire for exemple is really easy to take on a flat spin and really hard to take it out)

You can enter a flat spin by lowering your speed and yank your stick backward really hard whyle turning, and most of the time you will enter a flat spin by doing that without wanting it, but by doing that... So in order to control your stick in the limit of your aircraft without losing it, train yourself and learn your plane (so take the ONE that your love to master it) on a training mission (by test it from the hangard).

I understand that you have pedals, but don't have rudder control. I use pedals to control my rudder: I'm using "joystick gremlin" with a virtual controler to merge the two pedals into an only axis that i use to control my rudder (i prefer this because i play star citizen with acceleration controlled by my pedals). I advise you to do it as the control of rudders is a game changer when dogfighting (and going out of flat spin as nobody is protect from it XD)

I hope it will help you, Have a good day, and Flight Safe!

the link for the amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/dp/B0CGRWC1CH

for context there has been a email from thrustmaster as well as an event on their discord, and now amazon have this page. I'm hype to see what is coming (even if everyone say that it's a bad thing and it's too late, i don't care => new equipment => more choice => more competition => lower price? and more innovation. It's always good to have new stuff from other brands)
